I just bought a 21 JTR at what a consider to be a solid price in the current climate. Not many dealerships in Pa wheeling and dealing so I am quite proud of myself to get just over 12% off msrp.
2021 JTR in snazzberry, black leather, premium audio, LEDs, bedliner, slush mats, and freedom top.

That's a solid deal. I live in Delaware and have bought my last four vehicles in PA. No dealers in DE want to deal. My Gladiator I got for just a little over 11% off MSRP in March.

People quit talking MSRP you should always work off of invoice price and you can find out if you did good by going to ebb.org and put in your trucks info

Lighten up friend...people can use MSRP, invoice, whatever they want. Just hopefully the percentage off is higher is they’re using MSRP instead of invoice. These days “invoice” is a made up number just like MSRP.

What difference does it make how we calculate our final price. I know how much I got off of invoice. I also know I probably could have got a little bit better deal if I played the game. Didn't have the time for that. I'm good with what I paid.

Getting 10%+ off anything on an average day is a good deal. The incentives, hold backs, kickbacks vary all the time. It also varies with dealerships. The dealer a mile away from me will match anyone else but even better they don't have $1500 in dealer fees, document fees, auto preparation fees, and fees to charge you the fees.

So when you buy in PA, you still pay 0% sales tax, right? Is there any kind of fee for buying out of state?

Doesn't really matter where you start but rather where you finish. Either way, he got a good price, especially for the market conditions right now. In fact, given that, I'd say he got a steal. Especially compared to what they are going for where I live.

I pay the Delaware tax. Which is pretty low. No fee for buying out of state. Good thing about PA is they have a cap on their doc fees.

Not to split hairs, but after adding the processing/tire fee (but before taxes/reg), the OP paid 51,050. (50,651+399). With an MSRP of 57,500, the actual discount amounts to 11.22% (51,050/57,500).

Still a good deal for me. As a reference point I was planning on ordering a Sport S from Courtesy Jeep with an msrp at 54k. The price was 49.5 and then changed to 50.5 due to inventory adjustment. I got more Jeep for the same money with no wait assuming the rebates could vanish between now and delivery on an order. In the end, I am happy.
