Security lock boxes under driver’s seat

I have a Stopbox in my other vehicles but opted for the Console Vault in my Jeep because the others didn't have a built-in option. Highly recommend both.

The Stopbox is also TSA approved for airline transport (declared and in checked luggage, of course). The Console Vault holds a decent amount of stuff, comes in handy especially when the doors are off. I opted for their "Elite 4 Digit Lock."

I used the Lost Canyon underseat lockbox. Nice construction, a more complex lock/key setup.

I could not find an under driver seat lock box with access from the front as I had in my JKUR. I went with the Tuffy console insert for fast access to my CCW and the Tuffy rear underseat box for bigger stuff. To me, access to the Lost Canyon was a little awkward and needs to have the passenger seat fully forward. The console insert will hold my P2000 comfortably. Or probably a full size 1911 as well.

Edi: My comments were based on locking up a firearm. If you're just looking to store valuables maybe the Lost Canyon would work too.

I love the tuffy stuff. Had the center console and security deck in my LJ. Wish they made a vehicle specific center console for the JT.

I hear you. I had the box on my JKUR. I got the insert from Tuffy. That frame is a pita to get assembled but once done it is very solid. I get no movement at all with it.

Looks to be a very good product line, i'm still focused on finding a compact case with a pull out drawer that I might be able to fabricate a mount under driver's seat. BTW - whose bed rack are you running with?

It is a Leitner Designs https://www.leitnerdesigns.com/products/active-cargo-system-forged-ndns-jeep Not a inexpensive rack but for the weight that it will handle, it has done everything that I have wanted.

More or less thats almost identical to the Console Vault.

I looked at both before I got the Console Vault. It appears to be heavier duty than the Tuffy. I also like the 4-digit combo FWIW.
