The last time my gladiator had issues with the fuel system, the dealer was not able to recreate or determine the cause. They just said that they suspect that there is bad diesel in the tank, however, they did never tested it and wanted a couple grand to drop the tank and dispose of the diesel. So, I got a daily driver and took my gladiator home and got the diesel tested by Blackstone Labs, which everything came back perfectly fine. Now, since Nov. 2024, my gladiator has been sitting in the driveway, and only gets driven occasionally around town and haven't taken it on any trips since because of the issues in the past. I am planning on taking it on a trip next week and some other trips towards the end of the year.
Are there any recommendations for our diesels to ensure that sitting for extended amount of time won't cause any issues with the diesel and fuel pump? I have already had the fuel pump replaced 3 times, so trying to do whatever I can do to prevent any further fuel issues.
