Just finished up installing the Armorlite flooring and now I have a service air bag light on an message.
Anyone have a clue why? What should I be looking for?

Didn't unplug anything and installed just as video shows.

You unplugged a wire under the seat, I had same thing. I didn't unplug anything either, but moving the seats around disrupted it enough to trigger it.

That was my first thought but I see nothing unplugged. I'll keep looking.

I see nothing under either seat where anything is unplugged. I pushed in all plugs. Frustrating. Not sure where to look from here.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I’ve got the same issue. Nothing disconnected but haven’t tried unplugging and reattaching just yet. Did you find the culprit?

Should be a yellow connector. Well, airbag components used to be yellow.

When I took my seats out for insulation I threw air bag lights, used the JSCAN app to clear and they never came back. If driving around normal doesn’t fix it, I’d say invest the $110 or so in the bypass cable, Bluetooth obd ii dongle and the app. It’ll be cheaper and faster than having anyone look at it.

I didn't have an airbag issue when I installed my Armorlite. I also removed the front seats, so might be an attention detail situation

Just an update for anyone that may search this in the future. I searched the code it was showingand it was for the belt pre-tensioner in the driver's seat. I pulled the panels off again to verify nothing was still unplugged, and I found a little round orange cover that apparently closes some sort of circuit to satisfy the system that was attached to the seat belt assembly. Plugged it back in, started it up, and light went away. I must have knocked if off while putting the trim pieces back in somehow. Thanks again for y'alls help!

Do you recall what the exact message was? Mine is showing "Driver seatbelt retractor pretensioner deployment control wires shorted together". My orange plug was off too, but notice one of the little legs is broken off. It's just a retainer and it holds the connector in place, but I still have the error.

I have checked wiring everywhere and I can't locate the issue. I see no exposed or frayed wires. Pins all look good.

Same error message for me that I found using the taser to read the codes. Since I replaced that piece it hasn’t come back. Maybe since it was damaged it’s causing it to still show.
