Someone in another thread just posted a mid-September build 21 that does require it…so that October timeline must be a cutoff for something that changed.I just checked and mine doesn't have a recall. 2021 November build Diesel Willys. That could explain me having no issues in the winter with severe cold and short trips.
Mine seems to be using a significant amount. I added 2.5gal at 3500 miles. I'm at 4500 now and I got just above 1/4 left.I got the CEL and service DEF message today. Its at the dealer now and they say the def was frozen and dirty. I have 5400 miles and have only added 1 gallon myself the rest is from the factory. +10 today and I had no issues when it was-20 earlier this winter. Dealer did the ecu update today and they are keeping it overnight to thaw the def and check the heater. Dealer is saying that if its frozen and dirty it may not be covered under warranty. I have explained to them that if its frozen after the truck has been driven for a period of time it means the heater is not working and i had nothing to do with the def the truck came with from the factory. Anyone having the dealer claim its not under warranty? Also how much def are you guys using on average? Mine seems very little. I had a GMC Canyon with the duramax and it seemed to use more than the ecodiesel.
That's what I was afraid of. I'm wondering if mine is working right.Mine seems to be using a significant amount. I added 2.5gal at 3500 miles. I'm at 4500 now and I got just above 1/4 left.
Mine has been drinking it like a DEF Slut. I mean if my JTRD was woman and def was cum, I’d be able to pimp her out to cumslutsRus videosThat's what I was afraid of. I'm wondering if mine is working right.

Reading this has me confused if it belongs in this thread or "Last Jeep I'll ever Own". Seems like there has been a lot of carry over from one to another recentlyMine has been drinking it like a DEF Slut. I mean if my JTRD was woman and def was cum, I’d be able to pimp her out to cumslutsRus videos
.This forum has by far the most motorcyclists of any forum. There has to be some kind of a correlation between Jeeps and motorcycles. Mine seems to be right about a gallon per ~750 miles as far as I can calculate. I'm only up to approx 2400 total miles so far. Hopefully, it'll get so much better after 'break-in' (isn't that the line?).
The new software update is supposed to have something to do with lack of DEF usage as I understand it. My truck has only used like a gallon of DEF in 5,000 miles, which is why it was originally scheduled for the TSB turned recall software update.I got the CEL and service DEF message today.
