Not sure how each trim is affected. But in my Rubicon with the 8.4 I can turn off the horn when locking the vehicle. ( I do this when I'm camping to keep the noise down )

Also You can lock the doors before closing them and it will set the alarm without the horn.

( Also hoping this isn't a teenage son trying to figure out how to steal dads Glad )

Anyone know how to lock the Jeep silently without making the loud noise? Sometimes when I roll into my neighborhood after a late night out I don't want to wake the neighbors :)

Thanks!

LOL no teenage son here haha... Just that some of the settings are so buried in the touchscreen settings they are hard to find at least for me. Thanks for the tip, I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks @B345T appreciate the assist!

Can anyone confirm if you can still easily disable this feature with the ‘22 model year (Rubicon, specifically)?

Just got up (0445 ?) to let the dog out and it occurred to me that I forgot to address this. I had the dealer disable this feature for my last Chrysler (‘16 RAM 1500). I may just see if they can do that (taking delivery later today).

Yes, not everyone wants the horn to honk when you lock your truck. Especially if your wife is sleeping and you told her you'd be home at midnight but it's really 2:30 and you closed down the bars.
Simple setting.

Thank you. The dealer was good enough to point it out to me.

Lol. Yeah, my neighborhood is nice and quiet. Mostly retirees. You can generally hear a pin drop after 9:00 PM. I’m happy to hold up my end to ensure that peace and quiet is maintained.
