Method 709HDs are gonna be my choice. Even get a bead holder thing with em. Your thinking is very sound with the simulated bead lock ring. These thing soak up damage like it’s cool. And they’re usually replaceable. That’s a good thing. My last set ended their lives doing a metallic imitation of cooked bacon.

Method 709HDs are gonna be my choice. Even get a bead holder thing with em. Your thinking is very sound with the simulated bead lock ring. These thing soak up damage like it’s cool. The ring on 315's isn't replaceable. It's all one piece. I got chunks missing from the ring.

Been thinking on going with real bead locks.

I honestly have no idea what number mine are. I even bought an extra for a full sized spare right out the gate. Replaceable is the way to go. I like that they are pretty sacrificial. Beadlocks are super cool but biggest failing I see on anything other than probably Hutchinson is if that ring gets dinged it’s pretty much game over for that tire until you can coax it back into shape. I may be totally wrong but that’s what my head tells me.
