Slush Mats: I need to get some slush mats for my new Gladiator before the end of summer, looking around it appears that only the Jeep slush mats have the cutouts to drain through the floor drains? WeatherTech, 3W, Lasfit and others are just mats, no drains are there others I should be looking at?

Entry Guards: I want to add these too, I had the Fishbone Entry guards on my 2020 Gladiator but I kept fighting with the rear ones as the tape didn't work. I eventually just gave up. Are the Rugged Ridge better? I want the coverage from the RR/Fishbone style, so wondering if there is another that I should be looking at?

Installed both the Jeep slush mats and Rugged Ridge door entry guards in my 24 Mojave. Like them both and think they do a good job. When I installed the entry guards I wiped the area with isopropyl alcohol real good and then once installed used a heat gun to “warm” them up to make sure plastic flexed and tape stuck.

Thanks @StarsMojave, I appreciate the reply. I'd warmed things up too, maybe not enough. Maybe RR uses a better tape on theirs too.

Installed the RR mats and sill guards on my '21 Mojave almost as soon as I got it in September of 2021, and ran a set of similar ones on my '07 JKU for at least 15 years. Never had any issues with the sill guards. Would definitely recommend!

I think the Jeep Slush Mats are the only way to go if having the bottom drain feature is most important to you.

I am currently running the TrueShield branded mats bought through Extreme Terrain. I like them because they have more coverage under the pedal and up the transmission tunnel side more than others.

As to sill guards, was happy with the Quadratech branded ones on my 2020 and 2021 JT but have been on the fence about adding them to my 2025. I have my concerns about door sealing with them and any deep water fording keeping a seal on them. If I do spring for another set, probably going to be some Amazon specials as them seem to be all the same pretty much.

What I dont like is how the plastic trim always has my foot drag marks on it after almost 5 yrs. It has some scratches despite my extreme OCD nature it still happened . I want something to go over these . Any suggestions??

Anything you put over it is going to look out of place and trigger your OCD even more probably. I would suggest just living with it as that is pretty much a wear point on any vehicle to include the inside lower trim getting scuffed also with ones feet getting out.

I went with the Mopar door sill guards to avoid any reported issues with door seals with some of the aftermarket offerings. I’ve been happy with them.

I had Westin floor mats that came up over the plastic sill, more coverage than the Jeep branded mats, in my JLU. I haven’t moved them over yet to the JT, I’ve been happy with the Jeep mats the JT came with, so far.

I tell ya what I have actually considered ,
Removing them & spraying or coating with under coating or taking to a shop and having it done then reinstalling .
Is that stupid ?

So, for what it’s worth, I’ve been 2 years now with no entry guards and that area still looks new. Though, to be fair, I’ve been very clear about people not using that area as a step lol

Me too! I was going to experiment with some clear shield there and on the entry lip below the guards as well. I bought a small roll to repair the rear fender pieces that are pretty beat up.

If I get to it this weekend I will post pics.
