I saw OP is in Virginia. First they tax you up the wahoo every year, just to own a vehicle. And I've heard horror stories about the State Police. You could have avoided all the above by just.... riding a horse.
might be cheaper at this point.

Yeah cop is a dick. VSP are notorious asshats. Used to live in Luray Va. which is a very tourist visited area Troopers would hide at the bottom of grades every holiday weekend writing tickets on anyone five over. Actually hurt business for many of the tourist spots for years.
I usually try to give cops the benefit of the doubt as its a privilege I'd like to be afforded as well. And he wasn't wrong. I'll just call myself lucky he didn't decide to call a tow truck.

Rokblox? I don’t really understand why more people don’t have them. Jeeps especially since our windows like to catch rocks left and right, would think they appreciate them the most? ??‍♂

in all seriousness WA state patrol for some reason like to pull jeeps over for tire poke too…. ? but not the bro dozer trucks?? It’s weird. But the recon flare extensions and rokblox (knock on wood) has kept them happy and my tires hang out as much if not more than yours to the factory flares…. Flaps are removable.
Thx for the recommendation

This is probably the most off the wall response I have ever seen to anything.

”We have mud Like you’ve never seen here where I live! Nobody has mud like this! We constantly have to replace our windshields! All the time! You don’t even have room to complain until AT LEAST your 17th windshield.“

Dude, this ain’t the flex you think it is. This just tells me that you live in an area where your neighbors have zero regard for each other or the money that their negligence causes, and aren’t concerned about consequences of interacting with the wrong person.

Where is this? I need to know to make sure to never go there.

Oh ha I was responding to the other guys response, but it’s funny because I had a conversation about you the other day with another Jeeper here in TN. We both agree that your cop went overboard on the tickets.

Reminds me of when people who post "Nobody has weather like we do (insert whatever locale) here" and therefore are the better driver than others who live elsewhere.

"I think this guy just hates trucks/jeeps maybe?" this is satire not a denial of responsibility. I fully assume and understand the point of covered lights and plate.
No...........He was just a dick.

What County? I'm thinking it was back close to home for you and not out near the national forests, where there are more rigs like yours, dirt and all, on the rods than there are Corollas and Civics.

Down my way, Lunenburg, you can't hardly go 5 miles without seeing a lifted, spaced, muddied truck or Jeep on the road, especially in hunting season. (Club deer hunting with dogs, trucks, and radios is legal and common here)

Yeah same here in Shenandoah county but OPs bio says Alexandria which is the belly of the beast. Not sure where the tickets were from though.

Didn't say it has to be pristine, but it's also not hard to knock off the chunks or worst of it either.
Part of it is attitude - and this gives Jeep people the reputation they have for some - uncaring about anyone unless they are into trails and getting muddy.

I've come out of my share of muddy fields with tractors, trucks, trailers, and more - you can knock the chunks and worst of it off if you care and take some time. No one said had to be pressure washed, but just driving out and letting physics clean things?
Nope, having driven my trucks and equipment into and out of muddy fields for years - you can knock off the worst. I carried cheep brooms and always had sticks to at least get the worst chunks off.
The muck and mud in my fields was a challenge, and it was that way for weeks every spring and every fall. I've been there.
Remember, I farmed, a lot of wet areas, washouts, mud, had my trucks in there (both Chevy and Jeep) and 2 grain trucks, tractors, whatever.
But in my area(nj) if a 75% of the trucks coming from construction sites don't do any of that and the cops only care if you break a windshield. Heck, the Mrs and I were talking to our county sheriff last night about all the people who run RED lights, he said there's only so many police and 100's of people driving bad every day.

Spacers, wide tires - likely either poke or actual width. You can't run wide and not have the width marked out with lights.
Your tires stick out past the fender where I live it has to be less than a inch I put fender extension on mine
