So I need lights. But I'm not spending 2-3k for a setup that'll get run maybe once a month.

I have someOracle LED Biocular for headlights, DD for my fog lights and Harbor freight for my cowl lights which also serve as ditch lights since they have forward facing and angled in same light. Not very expensive. Believe as someone mentioned they have a new series of lights out but I have not seen them at my store yet.

Take a cheap shot all you want, the LP series are the best pods on the market and it's not even close. I had a pair of LP6 Pros on my JT and never felt I needed more. The near spread with the IPT lights is so good that I never ran ditch lights and the throw on the combo pattern gave full coverage at speed road or trail.

They're obviously not cheap, but your primary forward lights should be the biggest investment. Stick the Chinese stuff everywhere else.
I hear ya on that. But i would like a hold me over till later. I got a wife who limits the amount of boxes i can a have and thier respective cost per month. I feel a skid is much more important than a 600 dollar light. That light isn't gonna get me home when a stick decides to impale the trans pan.

My cowl pod lights and the light bar on my front bumper are all $20 china garbage.

Theyve been running for years and served me well in plenty of hunting trips and times I found myself wheeling in the dark. The trick is to open them up and apply RTV then reassemble. Most of these lights have cheap or even no gaskets.

Ive never found myself wishing I had more light etc. I dont have the bragging rights that come with the neat logos but I got the lights I need.

Everyone has a budget, stick to cheap chinese shit anywhere you want, it's your truck and your wallet... with that being said, I would NOT stick cheap chinese shit in my headlights or my fog lights because they will be lit up while driving on roads, light cut off lines and light scatter are super important factors to consider, it seems nobody cares about blinding that oncoming driver until they are on the side of the mountain and that oncoming driver is blinded by you then slams into you head on because all he could see is spots...I just got my gladiator, but on my Tundra I run Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fogs and they are PHENOMENAL and worth every penny and have saved my ass more than once. Either the DD SS3 fog pros or maxes will be going on the new gladiator without a second thought or discussion. I run the DD SS5 Pros for my ditch lights, those things are so bright my wife says it's animal cruelty when i turn them on. Definitely overkill for my uses, but i got a smoking deal on them, and I'm a sucker for deals, haha

I've decided on SS3 pros fro my fogs. I'm currently looking mor a true LED projector replacement that doesn't cost an arm and leg. DD is a bit extreme for my taste in the headlight game. Hope to find Mopar ones on FBM.

I'm glad to hear you decided on some great fogs, usually they have like three sales per year, but I heard through a vendor that DD is planning on only their Black friday sale this year. @Diode Dynamics can you confirm or deny this? @Diode Dynamics can you guys hook up @PuddleJumper with a forum discount??

Alright. I had to do a night recovery the other day and had a brown pants moment. I was on a tiny mountain backroad and rounded a steep corner and thought i drove my truck clean of the mountain side. I have LED bulbs in my headlights but that's about it. They are dialed perfect for road use no one flashes me and the high beam is adequate. However i would like to actually see where i'm driving in areas with no light pollution and the trees dense enough to block the moon. I'm gonna throw away the cheap amazon amber floods i got, they were great on my Tundra but have since faded after to many hard years. I have budget set aside for a lot of other things on my truck so i don't wanna fork over for lights. So i'd like rock lights preferably amber and 6 min. x2 Front driving pods in white that i can slap amber covers on if needed. And a cheap led amber fog solution for the stock fog location. I'd like to keep this a cheap as possible without buying literal crap. I'll leave the Baja Designs to the taco bro dozers at the mall. I want something i can smack clean off on a tight trail and not wince. Some ditch lights and chase lights would be cool but i don't think my budget will stretch that far rn. depending on ya'll's recommendations. I got a lot of maintenance to tie up as well as armor to install. I don't wanna be that guy throwing on lights before addressing more key issues. TIA.
My recommendation is a single pair of bumper mounted KC flex era 4 in front. And then a pair of inexpensive rear lights to brighten up the reverse. My two KC’s make it into daylight. They have multiple lens options. I have the combo spot/flood option. Two spot, two flood, per light. They’re amazing and are no where near the prices many spend.

I got the harbor freight BD LP knockoffs. I’lol let everyone know if they are worth it. Super beefy brackets and quality feel so far. I accidentally bought a spot and combo. Gotta return the spot for another combo. I will be getting ss3 fogs but still don’t know if I wanna go DD for the chase/bed lights or KC.

Inside my bed, I bought the KC kit designed for under the hood. Only two small lights and they light up the bed beautifully. And low cost.

Unfortunately, we cannot grant discounts outside sale periods due to our MRP policy with our dealers.

Additionally, we do not have any updated sales dates to post or publicly annouce at this time.

We do offer free US shipping exclusively to forum members by sending us a direct message for the code!

The other alternative would be to contact 4x4TruckLEDs and request a quote as they're an authorized dealer often offering incentives or kickback rewards with purchases.
