Apparently this whole time everybody told me these little snap loop straps were so I can roll up the rear window. Well I can't fold that window up enough to make it work but I did figure out it keeps it from flaping around when you pull the top back! And it only took me 80k miles.

Dang. Great find! I saw the snaps but didn’t realize I had the straps in the center console.

I’ve never bothered with it and I threw the straps behind the back passenger side seat. Your pic is 1000% better than the owners manual

I just went with the Rugged Ridge voyager and fold everything up above the soundbar.

How does that work (folding both front and rear to center), when RR says it cannot do that?

How quickly/easy is it to remove and replace the top by yourself? Would it compare to a Jeep TJ top? I have a TJ, and have had 3 different tops (stock, rampage trail, and now Bestop Trektop NX. Factory top was a pain to completely remove; the rampage was the easiest to remove, but was junk; Bestop I have to loosen the sport bar speakers to fish the straps under them.

So I don’t know that RR said so much “you can’t” as they said “don’t recommend.” I’d guess because there’s a chance the back half can slide out from under the front half due to wind then would be flapping all over like a tail on a kite.
That being said, I put the JLU version of this on my wife’s Jeep about a year and half ago. Many times now she’s folded the back forward then the front over it and has yet to have it come free. That includes a few highway trips.
I’ve driven mine at 75 on the highway and no issues. The support bar in the back kinda helps hold it in place even further.
As far as completely removing the top, it’s not too difficult. 4 cap screws and nuts, a couple straps and it just comes right off. Easier if it’s already folded up as in my pic.
It may seem easy to me since the wife has had me remove hers so many times now.
Honestly, with it completely folded as in my pic, it’s just barely bigger that the soundbar, so it’s almost like it’s completely off anyways.
