For you guys pulling teardrops and adventure trailers using light truck tires on them, Ever get any blowouts? I'm building a trailer myself but my dad blew a street tire on a Chevy LUV trailer he built and my XJ blew a mud tire when it was getting dollied (rear shaft removed) so now I'm a little gun shy. I want to do the whole matching wheel and tire thing but dunno....

About 10000 miles without any problems so far.

Unfortunately it is not possible for me to put the matching Gladiator size on my trailer, that would be my preferred option.

My recommendation: Go fot it!

Towing my Ranger to Big Sky Race Week 5hrs each way (2k lb trailer, 3200 lb truck) and our camper to the mountains for a lakeside getaway. A trailer brake is a must and towing at 65mph makes everything a lot more comfortable. My future plan is to swap the gears from 3.73 to 4.56 (or 4.88, not sure yet).
