Dry weight plus carrying capacity of that trailer comes to 7600 lbs. Trailers are allways heavier as delivered than the weights listed in brochures, which doesn't include options like awnings, ac, microwaves, spare tire. One manufacturer even considered the heater and refrigerator as options.
I was going to ask your cat if the awning was part of dry weight because some consider that an option even though most have it. TV is another option in some. It's been a while since i bought and owned a "camper" but there's a lot of stuff not generally considered.

Ah see I was confused because the dry weight in the above post was under 6000lbs, hence my confusion

I think there was some word play, too - referring to the trailer as a "max tow" but without the explanation of the loaded weight, I sort of looked wondering...... is there more?
And now you know.......... the rest of the story.

Here is my teardrop trailer. Don't have my JT just yet but this is what I'll be pulling mostly. 1980 lb dry weight. Looking forward to taking both out!

Power reclining theater chairs, eight each. They felt heavy to me moving them around but the short tow didn't see to affect the truck at all. Each box was 127 pounds (1016 total) plus the weight of the trailer.

I bet that trailer isn't even 800 pounds - so my guess based on my trailers and my neighbor's trailers, you had under 2,000 pounds back there. (I can lift one end of my utility trailer.) Maybe 200 pounds on the tongue?
A Rubicon should walk away with that like it's not even there.

We are planning a party. We have had out house torn apart for the past three months for a renovation. The last contractor is supposed to finish up tomorrow. I had to take the chairs to our storage room because we didn't have flooring in the house. But we do now so bring on bowl season.

I have done a ton of towing in my day and the Gladiator is a very good tow vehicle for what it is. Even though it has 37s and 4.10, we all know that a Gladiator needs 5.13 gear if you have 37s on it. Well not really!

I’m quite fine with the 3.6 in my truck. I have a buddy who owns a Ford dealership and I have been talking with him about getting an F250 with the new 7.3 and the Tremor package. My Gladiator has almost 13k miles on it already. Ned to wash it and leave it in the garage for a while

I have a 7500 mile limit on my insurance to keep my rates........... I've had mine since 11/12/19 and already have 1600 miles.
I doubt I'll be able to keep my rate!
