Has anyone else had this problem? Speedometer ready 6 mph at dead stop.
I have 37” BFG’ s and 4.88 gears. The computer has been programmed for this. Going down freeway noticed it was reading 84 with the cruise set at 75. Used my phone to check actual speed , it was dead on at 75

Had this issue come up frequently on my 2018 JLUR. Of course the dealer could never fix it. My 21 Gladiator has been perfect. Is your Gladiator an earlier model?

Cheers

Both displays? Only looked at the analog display
On my JL the digital was correct but the analog read high. I’d recommend taking pics or video of it and bring it into the dealer it’s a warranty item. Aftermarket programmer won’t fix it.

I had a truck that did that.
It ended up being a bad speedometer.

The analog always read couple miles higher is due to a design flaw. The distance between the needle and dial is too great. It's actually correct when stare at it perpendicular.

6 to 9 MPH off is a lot of parallax error.

Had this happen to my 19 JLUR the day after I programmed it with my ProCal.

I plugged the ProCal back in, ran through the setting again, road tested and power cycled everything a few times.

It's been fine since then.

About a year ago mine was wacky for about 2 days. The analog was reading 10 mph more than the digital, even stopped. No aftermarket programming, all stock, no codes. I set up an appointment with the dealer, the next day it's back to normal, I cancelled the appointment, haven't had any problems since. With no codes and issue gone it's hard to guess what caused it, hasn't returned but it was strange.
