Picked up a beautiful set of Spicer diff covers for my 2023 Majove. They came with bolts. Looking at a few youtube videos most people recomend to NOT use the supplied bolts. Touque specs are 25-30 ft lbs. The supplied bolts are snapping off well before 25 ft lbs.
Some recommend using the stock bolts but two problems with this:
The Spicer nodular iron covers are thicker than the stock stamped steal covers by quite a bit so the stock bolts may be too short for proper thread engagement.
The stock bolts are not supposed to be reused (torque to yield?).
So, any recommendations? I may try ARP and see if they have anything the size of the Spicer supplied bolts.
