Posted more details on the prices on another comments here. MSRP $43,290. Discount 38,090 so about %12 off MSRP
12% off MSRP post-incentive is not a very good price for a Sport S. Myself and other have been able to get these around 18% off post-incentive, so with your MSRP, that should be a post-incentive price of $35,500.

Is that with Max Tow package and 7inch radio? Automatic? Remote start? I listed the packages above

The dealer had the $35k price listed on the website for like an hour and I took a screenshot. When I sent it to him he got all worried like I wasn't supposed to see that. it was changed back to 38k. I guess it was a glitch. He was so defensive about how he couldn't sell for 35k. They put 3k in bullshit dealer accessories. Got him to take it off but still left it at 38
I have received similar quit plus or minus $200 of other colors with same packages. It's bs

Mine stickers at 43. I paid around 36 I think but the dealer added slush mats for free but had gap insurance and extended warranty so it pushed me into close to 43k otd. Max tow automatic 24s sport.

The dealer discount and rebates are not relevant to the factory options outside of how the factory options influence the MSRP.

This a very common practice for FCA dealers, usually it means you should find another dealer.

You need to know the pre-incentive discount (how much the dealer is discounting against invoice) and then how many rebates for which you qualify. The general target is 10% off MSRP pre-incentive (or 7% below invoice) plus $2000 to $3500 in post-incentive rebates. In your case, either the dealer is holding back discount (trunk money) or you not aggressively applying enough rebates. Keep in mind rebates changing monthly (generally).

Thanks man. Yeah this dealer was so aggressively defenssive about their dealer accessories. Window tint with Lifetime warranty? GPS tracker incase it's stolen? Bullshit. I could get that myself. And wheel locks. For $3k. I have been doing these negotiations over phone, text and email. Will go to another dealership to test drive today in person.
One dealer complained that the inventory was low due to coronavirus. That's not my problem I'll wait till new years if I have too lol. Other dealer is listing vehicles on transit that should be here mid June. Another dealer told me the same. Factory opened mid to late May I think and the new ones coming mid-late June. Worst case I wait for labor day sales or blackfriday -Christmas-new years sales .
Some dealers here in central Texas only have a bunch of lame overlands with minimal goodies.

Thanks to all that replied !

I'll report back from the other dealer. Good luck to all.

no trade

10% off MSRP on $39K is $3900, so $35,100 pre-incentive.

plus Potential Rebates:
$2000 Jeep Bonus Cash
$1000 VIN Specific Offer
$500 TrueCar/Penfed/Select Offer

$3500 in rebates + $3900 in discounts = $7400 total discount.

That makes a good target price right around $32K post-incentive.

Seems that around in Houston a lot of the Overlands got scooped up with the recent specials they were running now seems like its just a lot of Black and White Sports and Rubicons they have and are trying to get off of. A lot of the sports don't have much of anything in them other than trash stuff no one wants I suppose.

It appears from looking at many dealerships offers online that over the last month have seen prices on the Overlands and Rubicons drop but Sport S models rising. Especially max tow. I have been watching the price at some dealerships go from the $37,000 range to now the $40-$41K Range. Many of these trucks do not have shall we say many creature comforts at all. Just basic gear.
Also seems like there are an abundance of Black and White JT they are trying to push
Got my dealer to drop price (bought mine March 21...the day Dallas was shut down by crazy judge), showroom was empty, had my ram ecodiesel as trade. Dealer kept “finding” incentives and increased trade value. Max tow Sport S, white with tan interior 35K...very happy...22 on trade.

Is that with the 7inch radio group, remote start, and pewer windows?

Yes true. They are getting a small shipment coming mid to late June. But the sales manager I was negotiating with said he won't be fully stocked until mid August if he is lucky. So I said , sounds like I should wait until then so I can have more options to pick from and get some labor day sales. He started trying to back track and say oh yeah but ummm ummm but but who knows how many gladiators we'll get.

Lol that and the missing window sticker made me walk away. Having a hard time getting a sport with Mac tow, power windows and 7 inch under 38k they are acting like they are doing me a favor picking from their leftover inventory. And yeah lots of white and black ones. Black ones do look pretty cool. They usually have almost no good options though

They are doing you a favor. What you are asking for is impossible to find right now and that leftover inventory they have now will be much cheaper then whats shows up in August. Thats the whole point of this thread!!

How is it impossible? The poster above just said he got to 35k. They don't have the color and option combos I want so I'm saying I'm considering waiting until more inventory comes or even Christmas-new year's sales. Do u need me to buy one right now? You getting commission off that? I'll buy this month or in 10 months if that's what it takes to find the one I want. So unless you are going to be making my down payment or monthly payment...

I was offered a white max tow with roll up windows and no power locks , 5 inch radio group at 35k.

I don't really care if you buy, or if you don't buy -- Whatever option you take has no benefit to me. I was trying to help you understand the dealer's position. Good luck.
