Could you further explain the ābats in the bed replace the stock bars in the cabā? I donāt understand what you are talking about in the photos. TIAI don't mean to be cynical, but do those bats in the bed replace the stock bars in the cab? If not, why would you give up he space in the bed. If so, and you removed the stock bars, cool!
Otherwise, if only to look cool (and it does!), seems like a lot of effort, but Irepsect your taste.
Yes genuinely interested in this as wellCould you further explain the ābats in the bed replace the stock bars in the cabā? I donāt understand what you are talking about in the photos. TIA
I believe its either drilled or clampsIt just occurred to meā¦mounting these bars requires drilling, correct? Do you use nutserts, or old fashioned nuts and bolts?
.
They served a purpose on my Comanche.I am finding so much hate online for the "sports bar" and not the kind you can get drunk in.
I get how some say its not very functional, and even connect this with douchbag truck owners. But I honestly like it and do think its functional, for example it gives me a place to mount lights and will add some shade for my spare tire (when I get it) from the scorching sun.
What's your honest opinion? I can take it (I think)![]()
Yeah, the cab to bed ratio is already a little off!I think its the short bed of our Gladiators that made these sport bars always look a little off to me.
They look great on old Tacos, and broncos, but for some reason, they always look disproportionate to me. THat's just probably me. If you got'em and like them,* high five*
That's actually a badass sports bar, it fits well on the JT!Had this one on two different JT's. I found a need for a rack and sold it. Did it serve a function besides looks? Not really.

When it comes to lack of function, that one at least isn't as much of an obstruction as some of them are!Did it serve a function besides looks? Not really.
I ditched the LED light bar after a few months too. They would not stop whistling no matter what I did.I love where you have your lights mounted behind the cab and have considered doing the same. I refuse to mount them at the top of the windshield due to the noise. How has having them mounted there worked out for you?
