Squeaking Noise at Low Speed ??

My god I’m experiencing this same damn thing right now and it’s driving me nuts. Of course it’s impossible to ever get my truck looked at bc it takes them a week to diagnose something. It sounds like it’s coming from the rear

These…. Dumbest design Jeep has put in play… frustrated because I just took my rear apart to figure out the squeak as well. Found the spring clips broken…. 2 years/30k miles.

I’m doing my oil change tomorrow, when I get under there I’ll take a look mine

At jeep now ,they are changing the driveshaft and rear axle -chasing the rotational squeak .

I still have the squeak. Clips are not broken. Removed everything, cleaned and greased, Still there. Very frustrating.

I have the same low speed squeak. Have a 22 JTRD with 13k miles. Started noticing the squeak around 10k miles.

Went to a jeep jamboree in TX and the squeak is constant, but random. Did not seem to be related to anything other than going slow.

Back home in FL and it's still there.

Do you use your parking brake?

I stopped using mine and the squeak went away

Yes, I do. Mostly out of habit. I'll stop using it and see what happens.

Thanks for the insight. Fingers crossed it helps. I feel like I'm driving a "hooptie" in busy parking lots as I drive slow and squeak the whole time.

No idea why but I’ve stopped using it out of habit too and the noise has gone away. If I hear it, I’ll cruise at 2-3mph and press the parking brake button and pull it up real quick and that can get it to go away sometimes.

I never use my parking brake and I have it. I’ve used it briefly a few times to see if it stopped the noise and no dice. I can apply it while moving and the noise is still there. Only goes away with the regular brake.

My noise is not coming from the parking brake as far as I can tell.

Well new driveshaft and rear axle did not get rid of the squeak.
Here you go $169 no copper ceramic brake pads eliminated the squeak

Me neither. I took the wheel off 2 days ago to see if I could feel the squeak by putting my fingers in things while rotating but it didn’t make the squeak! I’ll try again this weekend.

2020 w/ 30k miles. Same rotational squeak at low speed after sitting everyone else is reporting. It's been happening for maybe 4-5 months now. Apply the brakes and it will stop but can come back at the same low speed after releasing brakes. Eventually goes away after picking up speed.

Taken it to a dealership and independent shop with no luck.
