Here are the speed tests for the installation. It does seem to get better the slower I go, the more open the sky above me, and the longer the system has been turned on. Makes sense to me.

The 1" PVC (cut in half) also rides nicely in the notches of the roll bar. The whole contraption does bounce a little on terrain, but it doesn't rattle or flex too much. Overall, happy with the addition. It takes about a minute to undo the velcro, remove the Mini, and be ready for an outside the cab method for installation. My wife streams YouTube and she liked that Starlink worked when cellular known dead zones would have ruined her experience.

Today I added the Genesis Offroad Outlet Box, and a fuse block to the back seat. This way the Starlink Mini can have a dedicated plug, keeping the chord from winding up to the front power port in the dash. Additionally, the Genesis dual battery under the back seat will power the Starlink Mini.
Power draw according to the Starlink app is averaging 20 Watts, so I figure the consumption at 1.5-3 amps.
I like the Genesis Offroad Outlet box, makes for a clean install and it tucks neatly behind the middle seat headrest.

Wow, very sorry for the long wait to respond.
I took pictures today. It is under seat storage for extra stuff, so it doesn't look organized.
The OEM tray is replaced with the Genesis Offroad dual battery (under hood refers to the bus bar and battery combiner location (under the hood). I like this set up, because I now have a fuse block under the back seat and can have fuse protection close to the battery under the back seat.

I never thought of doing it these ways. I used a cheap overhead Molle Shelf off Amazon and some brackets to mount mine. The brackets didn't line up exactly so I modified it a little but so far it works fine.

Nice setup. I’m debating on going this route with some Renogy mini batteries and maybe an 2k inverter under the seat or just picking up a power station. Both would work but the DIY is way more involved. I enjoy figuring out the wiring though so we’ll see what happens. For power stations I’m leaning toward the Bluetti elite 300 thing they came out with. That 30A is pretty cool to have even if it’s not totally needed.

That looks great. I would like to do the same but then I remembered I put sound deadening tape under the headliners. I wonder if that will interfere with the signal.

If it’s foil-backed it most definitely will interfere.

You can peel the foil off that stuff if you heat it up enough. To keep it somewhat manageable after you peel the foil just use something like wax paper to stick to the butyl stuff. Or remove it completely and use a layer of Sludge from Second Skin. Same type material, no foil.

The headliners are stuck permanently so I’ll have to figure something else out. My buddy has his on a roof rack so maybe I’ll go that route.

I followed an F-150 the other day that had one on his roof. It didn’t look horrible. One of the few times I’ve seen one in the wild.

There isn't much space in between the starlink and top panel so it would depend on how thick the sound deadening is to see if it would even fit as well.
