It could be very possible there are 68 shitty manual transmission drivers.
I've been without a truck for 7 months. Forum replies are full of haters. Made realize the Jeep culture is based on how many dollars you spend on your product to promote a brand that cloaks itself in patriotism while being owned by Italians. The same Italians who supported facism and killed real patriots in the great war I will remind you.

You may live in a land of copium, hating those who tell the truth, but the truth will come out. Jeep builds crap product, over charges for crap, gives crap service. Don't spend 70k on a Jeep, don't spend $5 on one. Buy American not Italian. Support democracy not facism.

Please detail your PERSONAL experience with this issue. The facts of approximately 68 noted failures out of thousands produced doesn’t exactly seem like the sky is falling.
The bigger issue seems to be trucks derating when they sense the clutch is hot.

Hmm. Where to begin? I'll start by saying that my Gladiator is my first Jeep. I am no brand fanboy. In fact the brand means nothing to me.

I bought my Jeep knowing the questionable quality of the vehicle. As a prior owner of a 21 year old Volvo that has 175k miles with nothing other than service. Zero rust after 21 New England winters, and even its original stainless steel exhaust in place, I knew I was rolling the dice.

I also knew that on average dealer service was crap. I've actually been surprised by my local dealer. (Lawless in Woburn MA has been great)

Yup. Jeep is owned by Italians who don't care about you. Neither does GM or Ford. None of them care a bit about you other than as a possible source of recurring revenue. If you are lucky, your dealer cares about you. But that's variable.

These Italians are members of NATO, and have stood shoulder to shoulder with us against communism and most recently Russia for the last 78 years!!! I would say that they have redeemed themselves.

You sound like my grandfather with your talk of fascism. You seem to forget that countries that were our enemies in WWII are now CRITICAL allies, specifically Germany and Japan. In fact in a most likely conflict with our only equal, China, the manufacturing might of Japan and Germany is absolutely critical.

Which leads to the fact that Italy never produced enough or fought well enough to matter to whatever side it was on. There were even some jokes about this. 1) used Italian army rifle - never fired, dropped once. 2) used Italian tank, runs great. Never fired, worn out reverse gear.

Dude, there might be some coherent thoughts in there, but the verbal diarrhea just takes away from it entirely. Can't tell if trolling or just over-excited conspiracist.

M/T is a big problem? Agree. I would've loved to get a 6-speed when I bought mine, but boy am I happy I didn't. Jeep clearly did a trash job with them. But what you said above? That's all absolutely useless garbage.

Reminds me of my Granduncle Vic who was a Pear Harbor survivor. Had similar rants while we would watch football on his Sony TV.

We are not living in that world anymore and life has evolved past that.

I got another thread with personal experiences. Fan boys always want proof.
…… Is that supposed to be a valid argument? I’m not saying you’re wrong or right, just that arguing against evidence makes you look silly.

If you want to know the direction the company takes or character or the super qualities of that company, pull up the roster list and see where each one of the top leaders excelled in. So, pull up Stellantis and read up on the folks at the top and see what ranks they climbed and shoulders they rubbed to get their mug shot pasted at the top.

What qualities do we as the lowly customer look for in our leaders to make us feel special or make us believe we have a shot at fairness and transparency of company or that our concerns will be heard?

Will the whole board, or mostly the whole board of pro sales individuals best represent us low simple folks?

It takes 5 min to make a sale and a life time of service to keep and maintain trust and relationship.

The problem is they don't actually "sense" that the clutch is hot, that requires a hardware change to add such a sensor. The computer "computes" that clutch is hot based on other inputs. So the clutch could overheat and the computer wouldn't know in some cases, or the computer could derate the engine output thinking the clutch is hot when it isn't.

I was with you until that one.
You aren't one of those people who believes that Ukraine is full of Nazis and their invasion was justified, are you??

We can debate what the appropriate response should be but to suggest that it is justified demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of reality.

Dude Jeep mailed us all a letter saying our transmission may spontaneously explode at any moment. The recall has been in affect since like 2019 or 2020 and Jeep hasn't fixed the issue and continued selling at inflated prices. The issue initially came up on the JK, a completely different model!!

False dichotomy. There are more options than that. Open your mind.

I could just as easily ask if you're one of the Current Thing NPC's that believe Ukramia = good Pooty Poo = bad.

But I won't (that would be just as bad, and also continuing off-topic)
