Absolutely not worth it.

What you're looking at here is a stronger bumper and the LED lights are brighter with a better beam pattern. And, there's a total of $650 here for bumper and lights.

I'm tired of Mopar raping people.

If you want LEDs you can upgrade the bulbs for $100. So the question becomes is the bumper worth $1500 and my answer would be no. I had intended to go with the steel bumper right until I found I had to buy the LED package. Way too many aftermarket options available at a better price. Hell, I'll have a bumper, winch and LEDs for $8-900 less than if I went factory.

The LEDs have likely saved my life a few times this year. There's been a few deer and a ram step out onto the highway on the way to my hunting spot. The lights let me see them with loads of time to brake. More light is always safer on the road imho unless you are fogged out. I'd love to hear a reason against them that makes sense. The bumper is a smittybilt stryker, which I would also highly recommend.

Plenty of aftermarket LED replacement threads around here - that's not a trivial exercise. I really don't like the look of most aftermarket bumpers. For me, the steel bumper looks stock plus supports a winch and everything else as bolt ons. What made me glad I ordered it was teh thread where some kid at the drive thru backed up into a JT. Scratches on the steel bumper, a massive dent in the tail of the SUV that hit him. Sold.

No heat to melt snow or ice ( especially on the Wranglers and Gladiators flat face with deep pockets )
To dam bright in the fog and snow

Makes since I’m down south so that wouldn’t ever apply to me I’m getting old & LED’s adjusted right so not to blind oncoming traffic work wonderful for me.

I have the Overland so you cannot even order the steal bumper, so i went with Hauk Predator series bumper.
