Steering TSB and PCM Update Performed

What a difference. The truck tracks true now and handles the irregular pavement well. The PCM update feels like an extra 20 ponies were installed. See attached. I highly recommend you have this performed.

Are PCM updates something the dealer does automatically during service? Or is it only for Jeeps causing problems?

When i had my TSB repair, I requested the pcm flash as others had recommended. A check of alignment was also requested. My dealership did all i requested w/o complaint. Everything was done on warranty with no out of pocket expense. I would strongly suggest asking for the pcm flash when your TSB service us done. If they know what they are doing, they wont question anything and do it. Just my 2 cents worth.

If you want to save some headaches, bring them the TSB number and information. I brought 2 pages of info in to my Ram dealer when I was having issues that they had not seen before. After I brought them the info, they fixed it no problem, but they were bulletins that were not sent out, they would have had to search by symptoms.

Thanks... I also found some more info in the misfire thread. Were you having a CEL or anything else that would have prompted you to have this done?
