Still f*** no

4.10 gears, 315/70/17 tires. Recalibrated for tire size. I drive like an old man.

I Have had her for almost 3 months. Mostly local driving - Not on the hwy much. Lucky to hit 14 once in awhile.

Wasnt much better when it was stock. Basically stayed in 14's ... lucky to hit 15 back then.

Plenty of guys in the same boat. Honestly, doesn't really bother me. Went into it expecting shit fuel economy and thats what I got lol
That sounds like something is wrong or heavily modded. Or you drive under yes/no conditions to where the throttle is fully pressed or not all lol. You're experience is not the norm, as an outlier, you don't count :P
My 2021 JTR gets about 13.3 MPG, I added an RSI smartcap EvO A & lost 3 MPGs was at 16.5 MPG on 37s 5.13 gears. For me being at altitude 5280 feet matters, at sea-level your going to get better mpg. On stock 33s I got 15.8 mpg on 4.10 gears. Just add a little bit of weight doesn’t take much & watch the mpg’s drop. I don’t think he’s too outside of the norm.

Not only no, but hell no. I like being able to still drive when it gets really cold outside. Call me crazy.
Ah, you mean like when it gets to 40.

Yesterday it hit 33 and we had a white ground again. It was about 25 when I got up this AM, I think it hit 34.

I mean you can still drive it no matter how cold it gets as it also has a regular gas engine as well though they say when its super cold the mileage on the pure electric system drops

Totally off topic but... but.. I have to ask: is the 'my car / her car' really a thing for some married folks? Like, you would never drive 'her' car and 'she never drives my car' thing?
It is pretty much this in my house with a few one off exceptions now and then. If we take long road trips, will drive her vehicle because it is better on gas.

Also, we keep separate finances and split bills based on percentage of income. Saves on the hen pecking and asking for ones balls back some men go through when wanting to buy expensive toys or mods for those toys.

That would have been extremely complicated since it flipped back and forth for years. When I farmed, there was 0 technical income for a couple of those years while she had income. Then later when we moved from the farm, it flipped back and forth - her income was higher, then mine, then hers, then mine to the point I leapfrogged her income in the last few years we worked but because of her time with the state and her exceeding the rule of 88, her IPERS is far more than mine because I was with government only 12 years. And yet different 401Ks, different other investments it's been so up and down there was just no way to split things up, and, we've never felt like we wanted to.
When Principal laid off (fired is more like it) over 70 of us in IT - I was with no income for 22 months, then again, I got a job and exceeded her income. Just so much easier to pool it all.

She never gripes, we discuss and plan. Her quilting machine was 18K and that was 8 years ago, the Intelliquilter CNC system was another 12K, her new sewing machine with trade-in was 7K, but - she's made money using those things and has so far made at least 40 quilts to donate to people hit by natural disasters (like Kentucky, as well as other states), and has donated thousands to the local food bank by making things and selling them and giving the money to the food bank. So it's hard to say no.......especially when she does quilting for someone and goes to the bank with 200 bucks.
As long as we're paying the bills and don't have to really stretch things too far, as long as we have plans, there's seldom any problem. Sometimes she's the smarter one and she'll say "if you really want that why don't you sell this and get rid of a couple of other things" or come up with some way or plan.
Her planning is the reason we both retired before 65 (she retired at 57, me at 60) so I trust her judgement.

Yeah. She doesn't even know how to drive a manual. I am the only one who has ever driven my Jeep.

Only time I have ever driven hers is if we are riding together and she doesn't feel like driving. I wouldn't ever drive her Jeep by myself.

My wife knows how to drive all our vehicles, and will at least once a month, I however only drive the Jeeps. I refuse to drive her prius...
