Something... something... software.
I searched the forums and found lots of posts about stock spares, etc. but not exactly what I was looking for, so apologies if I did miss it.

I have Toyo R/T Open Country 37x13.5s. I need to replace the stock spare. I can't seem to find out the stock spare wheel size, to see what tire I could mount to it. As long as I get a 37, I would think a skinnier 12.5 would be fine and hang down just slightly less underneath. I thought about just getting a 5th matching wheel and tire, but I'd be looking at about $900+ so I think I'd rather just go non-matching and spend the extra on something else.

I bought a single matching wheel - no regrets.

Anyway, all Gladiator spare wheels are steel 17" and I think it's no more than 7.5" wide, likely less. I've searched and searched and today have to agree - the search ain't always great LOL. Oh, well.........
If I haven't helped answer at least I got your post back up to the top on the front page!

I can't find anything to verify the width of the spare rim.
I thought they were only 7" wide and not 7.5" wide.
But all the factory spares are 17" diameter.

Oh! I've got a spare spare rim (rim) without a tire mounted. Lemmie go measure...

Assuming wheels are measured from the inside of the rim, it's 7.5.
Yes, that would be correct - inside where the bead sits against the "rim". Looks like 7.5"

Key words for future searchers: spare, rim, wheel, width, factory, steel, wide

while i'm not usually a fan of mounting tires on rims outside the manufacturer's specifications (i know, people do it all the time. whatever, i don't) for a spare, i'd gladly make an exception. Throw a 37x12.5 on that 7.5 inch rim and call it a day. not all 37s fit underneath though, so probably stick with a k02. If you're gonna treat the spare like a donut anyway, the minor differences between a real 36.5 tire and a small 36.5 tire wont matter just to get you from the flat to the shop, and if you wanna be extra careful, just always donut a front wheel if you have to use it.

are you able to measure the offset? I am curious what spacer size I will need to fit after the lift i think I will need a 2" spacer.

People Work?
Check the surface of the backside of your rim. Size and offset is stamped into the stock 4 rims, so it may be on the spare as well.
