Hey all,

Currently running a Black Horse Tonneau compatible roll bar and a Gator tri-fold soft tonneau.
I do have Rough Country molle panel on the bed on the driver side, which hasnt been an issue
with the tri-fold I have currently. Do not have trail rails.

I am considering switching to a tri-fold hard tonneau - I like being able to remove the tonneau
quickly in case I need to use the vertical bed space, but Id like a platform that is strong enough
to support sleeping in a ground tent. Looking to avoid a rack / roof tent setup.

Would like to hear from yall with the hard tonneaus and get some suggestions. Thanks!

I have the Tyger which weighs around 60 lb. It is pretty strong, supposed to hold 500 lb. iirc.

I think I saw a video last month on Youtube about a tonneau installation that I'm pretty sure was Tyger - it was thicker than a lot of tonneau covers, but the guy got up and stood on it and it was rated for more than that....so I know there are tonneau covers out there that you could sleep on. As always, with everything in life, there are trade-offs. I love the low profile of mine, and one that can support 500 pounds is going to have to be thicker - maybe not by much but it's a consideration.

Ill take a look at the Tyger one. I have a few Tyger parts on my Willy`s already and was actually pretty surprised at how solid they are for the price. Seems a lot of the "Metal" tonneau`s are just foam with thin aluminum veneer, so Im a little concerned about finding something that would actually support weight.. but hey if dude can stand on it then we might be onto something haha.
