I think wharton state park would be a fun place to meet for the east coast. Wish they had a shooting range too. Anyone know a place to off road and ping at the same place in the tri state????what's better then wheeling and shooting!

I am in San Diego, CA
I will drive a full day/500 miles plus or minus in any combination of north and East on 90 days notice. Could be convinced to go further.
My first Jeep. No meaningful off road experience but interested. Enjoy camping and lately overlanding looks like fun.

Based in New York’s Finger Lakes, but starting truck life in a few weeks, so I could be anywhere worth going with a little notice.

This is my first Jeep, but I’ve been off-road camping and trail wheeling since the early 1980s. Point me toward a few trails to crawl through, some good food and a place for a campfire, and I’m in.

There is a regionally well known off-road facility called Haspin Acres.
I’m up for driving a few hundred miles.
Other then growing up in rural Indiana, I have no off-road experience.

I don’t know much about that area never been up that way
Anyone got ideas what areas could be good for wheeling? I know that have that big motorcycle meetup somewhere which means at least one area would be conducive to a big group

There is a big corvette rally in the area every year and I think they meet around Spearfish. There is also a Jeep Jamboree but I haven't attended it so I am not sure where all they go.

I live in NW Illinois, frequently off road my JT. I recommend The Badlands Off Road Park in Attica, IN. As it is somewhat centrally located, has a wide range of terrain and trail types, is a large park with plenty for everyone to do, and offers onsite camping and even has cabin rentals.
