I don't have a sup board, I'm more a kayak person in the water. But I work on the shores of Lake Michigan and they are popular combo there. Tourist and locals alike.

Right now, I’m trying to get back into surfing, I took a 6 year break because a few hockey injuries. Currently keep my boards in the bed, but would like an ARE cap with surf racks. Might wait a bit because I just put on the RockJock Pro 3.5 lift with the Antirock system, some nice forged wheels with 37’s and it’s in the shop right now getting reheated and new driveshafts.

Noticed you’re from the Oceanside area. I’m from Orange County but recently bought a mobile home in Carlsbad and looking for a surf partner if you’re interested. I used to surf a lot when I was young and not injured and my wife encourages me to go surf.

Knew from the start that my Max-tow was going to be carrying a SUP and pulling a trailer for surf trips. Drop the trailer and drive to the surf.
