While I was trying to create the spreadsheet, I noticed some of the entries were off. For example one entered the production date of 9/20 but the entry was in Aug. I tried to review some of what I captured and all of the ones that might have had a later than June I am skeptical on. I know that my manager bought his the same time I did and his production date was June/2020 and has had no issues with about 2k on it. I was thinking of jumping into the JL forums to get a similar survey going and see if we can find the "sweet spot" as far as this production dates go..
I've noticed some people are putting the month and year for build date and some are putting month day and time.
My build date is 10/19/19 at the 11th hour. I'm getting ready to take my Gladiator for the 3rd attempt, they did the reflash last time and it was still misfiring in the parking lot on pick up.

If they do not reset the active trans throttle and brake there is a fair chance this will happen until the controls adapt back to where they should be

Anyone have a 2021 or 2020 Mojave with engine misfires/CEL problem? I am letting FCA buy my 2020 back and want to replace it.

So I am about to pull the trigger on a replacement Gladiator Rubicon after buyback of my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon manufactured in January 2020. Looking at a 2021. Has anybody has the CEL with multi-engine misfires on a 2021 Gladiator?

My replacement 2021 and my original 2020are sitting at the dealership. They have had 2 months to get the paperwork squared away but, alas the FCA rep is inept and heartless. I should be able to take possession of the '21 in a week and will let you know. Sorry if that timeline doesn't work out.

The new 2021 Gladiator Rubicon I am about to acquire was manufactured on October 15, 2020. Anyone have any CEL or misfire issues with a 2021 Gladiator?

Curious, I've had my truck's PCM flashed 2 times now. No CEL for the few weeks I've had it, but it still runs the same and I've had about 3 ESS service warnings.... still has a shake at idle (not unbearable, but concerning) does anybody else's truck shake/vibrate? Or am I being too picky? I dont want to call it fixed and put a 3k dollar lift on it and have the same issue....

Add me to the list. 781 miles on my 2021 when I got a flashing CEL when my engine started sputtering on my first trip away from home. "Thankfully" I was ~20 miles from a dealership in Sioux City, IA. I put thankfully in quotes because they said it was from an apparently damaged plug in #2 cylinder was causing it to misfire. Got it back on the road and ~50 miles down the road I got a flashing CEL again (along with the sputtering again). Pulled it over and turned it off while I was trying to figure out my next move seeing as the dealer was closed and my hotel was 100 miles in the opposite direction. Opted to try and limp it to my hotel as there was another dealer there and I'm working there for a few days. Started it and was able to drive it the distance with no sputtering or CEL. While driving it around over the weekend (couldn't get it in) it gave me a solid CEL and sputtered every time I stepped on the accelerator

Took it to the second dealership this morning. They said it was #1 cylinder misfiring and said the sparkplug looked like it had been dropped because the ground electrode was bend and the porcelain was cracked. They replaced the plug and test drove it for almost 35 miles with no reported issues. I picked it up right as they were closing and could tell at the first light I had to stop at that it was still misfiring, just not to the point where it activated the CEL. Tried timing the misfires but the misfires are inconsistent. I really want to try limping it back to the dealer I bought it from as they've been very trustworthy with my Wrangler for 10 years but I have a feeling that it won't make it nearly that far

Owned it for 9 days and 2.5 of those have been split between two dealerships...
From a different misfire thread. Looks like the issue will, unfortunately, carry over into the '21's - not good but not unexpected. Multiple issues at play and FCA hasn't yet addressed all of them

I would proceed with caution with the upgrades. In my opinion, its just a matter of time before you get another CEL. Mine did the same thing....

Thats what I was leaning towards, a part of me just wants to see the CEL again so I can get it over with. I feel like their PCM flash just masked the symptoms....

PCM did nothing for mine but just prolong the inevitable. I had it done twice.
Your truck will only throw a p0300 misfire code when it detects misfires on consecutive occasions. If you have a misfire, then nothing on the next start, it deletes the 1st and starts over again. This causes the ESS system to malfunction (due to the stored codes) and thats why you are seeing the ESS without the CEL.

Great so its just going to take longer to know for sure... Oddly enough today my truck idled so smooth I thought it wasn't running! Its only ever done that twice in 11,000 miles.... I think next time I get a CEL I'm going to ask for a buy back or get a lemon lawyer... I like the truck enough I'd buy another

I went in for my oil change and tire rotation and they said if I was due for the PCM flash update and they went ahead and did it. I wasn’t even aware of the issues

Did you have a shake at idle? And if you did, did it smooth it out?
