2022 Sport S with no L.E.D lights. I bought a set of factory L.E.D turn signals. Should be an easy swap but will it require a tazer or other controller to active the lights and have them work appropriately? I would love to have them on all the time as DRLs.

More than likely it will require a tazer or inline resistor to adjust the voltage read by the Jeep, in order to avoid hyperflashing

You will get the hyper flash if you don’t change the turn signal light setting to led. This came be done by a dealer or with programmer.

You will need to adjust the computer settings to let it know that LED lights are installed in those locations. Jscan, AlfaOBD, a Tazer, or the dealer can be used to make the changes. A Jscan setup is cheaper than a trip to the dealer.

For the rears, I didn't have to do any programming, but when I did the fronts I had to change the vehicle settings.

I use Alpha ODB, definitely not worth going to the dealer for something like this.
