I just had an Alucab contour canopy and roof top tent installed yesterday, and on my way hope was surprised by the amount of body sway when cornering. I have a Clayton 2.5” lift installed, with rear HD springs to handle the extra weight. If I install an upgraded sway bar, wont the negatively affect the real wheel articulation when going off-road? Does anyone have any other ideas? Erich

I have the same lift, RSI topper and roof top tent on a 22 Rubicon diesel. I still have the stock swaybar but have the Falcon adjustable shocks which give me the ability to adjust based on the weight I’m carrying and whether I’m on or off road.

Did you install a rear track bar relocation kit with your lift? I was surprised how much the rear roll was reduced when I did. I’ve got a similar or heavier load in the back - Alu-Cab Canopy Camper, on 3.5” Clayton lift - and I ran without track bar relocation for maybe 5k miles. If you study the geometry you’ll notice that the track bar position matters a lot for sway. Anything other than flat at ride height will amplify sway. This is a pretty cheap and easy DIY improvement (mine is Teraflex but there are several)

After talking to Brad at TrailRecon, I have started looking into new shocks as well. The shocks I am using are the Fox shocks that came stock on my Mojave, which are valved very soft. Do you like the Falcons?

Honestly, I am not certain but will check into it. Thanks for the tip.

After a trip to AZ and smashed/bent my Clayton sway bar end links I upgraded to the RockJock Anti-sway bar Heavy and am super happy with it. I have Clayton 2.5” and Alu-Cab Contour

I've noticed that the Clayton end links look less than heavy duty and will probably replace mine as well. Thank you for the link.

I’m very pleased with the Falcons. Having the ability to change the settings from soft to hard and a 8 settings in medium is pretty nice.

I’m satisfied with the shocks. There is a noticeable difference when you change the settings. Being able to adjust the stiffness depending on load and conditions is a nice option to have. I went from the stock Rubicon suspension to the Clayton 2.5” Overland Plus with the Falcons and it made a world of difference for the good in regards to handling and comfort.
