Hi all. Would like to get people’s opinion if adding an electric or manual sway bar disconnect to my overland is needed and if there are any recommendations for a brand. Running 4.5 inch evo lift on 38” Patagonia’s. No hard core trails I will visit. Went from a jk rubicon running 33s and I never used the disconnect Ever. Looking forward to your comments.

Oh I like those. so what I am getting is I should invest in these for my overland based on good to have just in case?
Once the Currie AntiRock is installed no need to disconnect anymore. Daily driving or wheeling just go and forget about it.

Yeah I saw those. Thanks for the recommendation. So when they come available you are going with those?
Yes, they're pretty foolproof and good quality.

The AntiRocks @wyldefreebyrd posted are pretty sweet as well; it just depends what you use your JT for. I'd consider one for a trail rig (if the e-disco on my JKR ever fails, I might replace it with an AntiRock), but not on a DD because they do experience more body roll on the street. Some people don't mind it, but my JT would be on pavement 90% of the time, and the 10% it would be off road would be for camping and/or exploring pretty mild trails (the JKR will be for when I want to hit tougher trails). It takes no time to use disconnect at the trail head, so it works for my needs.

Had the anti-rock on my JK daily driver and loved every bit of it, on road and off ... planning on the same for my daily driving JT. After having stock, disco's and the anti-rock, the anti-rock wins every time. It has always been the single best upgrade hands down.

I have the JKS disco's on my overland & they are just so quick & easy and very stable when connected.

Isn't this a bit contradictory - I mean check - says fits 2.5" - 6" lift ONLY then later says "on stock or modified". If you have a lift, any lift, it's no longer stock, it's modified......
So how can you install these on a stock Jeep - when it says only 2.5" or greater lift?

  • Fits vehicles with 2.5"-6.0" Lift Only
  • Includes a pair of frame mounted retention brackets to keep the links and sway bar in place when disconnected
  • Gain up to 30 percent more axle articulation by disconnecting your front swaybar
  • Dramatically improve off-road performance on stock or modified Jeeps

I'm wondering if "2.5"-6.0" fits stock Mojave (Mojave)
