Well said, from day one Jeep has marketed this truck as a lifestyle truck, not a plywood hauling work truck or a swiss army knife that will do everything. I think these guys are just finding another way to lobby for an extended cab with a bigger bed.
Hell no! I'm cool with the Gladiator. They said it can haul a few sheets of plywood, that's all I want. Then the rest of the time it can be my daily driver AND a lifestyle truck for the toy guys.

My lifestyle however, is haul a family of four on the weekend to stop by menards quick, maybe to get some plywood, or a couple new garbage cans, then pack up the bikes and head out for a ride.

All I'm saying is no reason this thing can't also haul a few sheets of plywood, if it can also haul two dirt bikes. No need for extended cab, I'll let the sheets hang 2 feet off the tailgate if needed.

My only concern is that heavy plywood could dent that bump and possibly break the gas fill line. Hopefully they make that bump out of good, strong material so that could never happen.
Notch the plywood. Problem solved.

My work is done here.

Hey guys I now think it will fit. In the Quadratec video he says it’s 44.5 inches wheel well to wheel well. So you just need 3.5 more inches to get them to fit above the wheel well. And now looking at it the above silver Gladiator without any sprayed in bedliner I can now get a much clearer look at the gas fill bump. And I can now see that it does not go out to the right all the way to the edge of the wheel well. See it takes a vertical drop right where the tonneau cover strap dangles down. And it looks like it may easily be 2 to 3 inches there for the left side of the plywood to sit on. So it looks like it may be all good after all. And sorry folks but hard to see this with the black sprayed in bed liner.

WOW! This plywood thing has really taken off!

Jake, you are correct. We didn't include measuring the fuel filler bump in our video, however it will not interfere with loading a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the bed. I don't recall the exact measurement from the inside edge of the wheel well, but I did put a tape measure to it, and it is recessed in further than the opening at the tailgate if that makes sense.

What about true Baltic birch ply, isn't that 5x5?
Those engineering a-holes couldn't make that happen. ... And no 2 door, I'm getting a ram 3500, even though that can't haul Baltic birch ply either.
