For the price, I think that it will tie me into jeep only accessories to use it. I like the 110v outlet.....but isn't there one in the cab on a Rubicon anyways?

I'm curious about this as well. I'm trying to imagine myself how many times I would be using that outlet from the back of the bed. I'm sure there will be alot of aftermarket trail management system available after some time. Hopefully there will be one that would be compatible with a tonneau cover.

I LOVE it. I used to keep a generator in my ram. If you can use corded tools fromthe bed ofyour truck, you can use it as a work truck a LOT more easily

I am getting it for the lockable storage under the seat. Without that package, the only other lockable storage is behind the seats, glovebox and the center console.

One nice thing about not buying a Gladiator right away is that we can see what the aftermarket offers as an alternative or an add on to the system.

Except for that 110v outlet, I would pass. I want to keep a fridge back there for Overlanding. If there is a decent aftermarket outlet, I’ll skip it.

You actually have more lockable storage without it, you can still lock the seat in the down position and the whole area under the seat is locked and inaccessible.

This is what I want to do as well but I have decided to forgo this option as I plan on powering my fridge with a 12v power source as most fridges are powered that way..

Think about it this way... with the money you save you could get the fridge...

The underseat box doesnt interest me much. Frankly I'm hoping somebody comes out with a rifle/shotgun case that snaps down in there!!!

Are you going to bolt the fridge to the bed?

Mine is rather weighty...especially when full. I’ll likely strap it down for travel, but don’t really fear theft

When you lock the seat it only locks the back of the seat, not the bottom.

Haven’t decided yet.
If I get some sort of cap I probably will put it on a tray so I can pull it out.
If I go with a rack i’ll probably remove the rear seat and secure it there.
