Redo your Mojave stickers so it's a bronze outline instead of orange.
Certainly something I will consider...it was literally the next mod I was going to do on my JL before I decided to trade it :) I plan to repaint my trail doors the darker bronze instead of the hammered copper but will likely maintain my old theme:

Been looking for some winter wheels, in black with chrome centers.... my search is over.

you've got great taste man,
Awesome ?! Appreciate that man! Be sure to post pics. The wheels have been great and the only negative thing is they are heavy (40 lbs each)

I have the Cooper ST MAXX 285/75R17s. Basically a 34x10.5. Really like that tire on my Mojave
285s are actually about 11.4" wide just as 315s are about 12.5"wide. I have Toyo 285/75/17s and the sticker on the tire had the metric size and 34x11.5x17 listed.

Good catch, mine measure just over 11'

That is one nice Mojave and I love the tires. I think those are what I need and want.

Looks great man! You got me considering these in black or color matched to my Firecracker red! I have a couple questions for you. I see in the pics on Summits website that there looks to be star type adapter around the lug nuts and center cap, do you have that on your Jeep? Its kind of hard to tell in your pics. Also did you have to order the center cap separately? And did you have these wheels painted or powdercoated? I like the option that Summit sells these in bare metal.

How are they on the road in the rain? You must do a lot of off roading in heavy mud to have a tire like that.

I bought a different set of chrome center caps that were much cheaper and Gorilla locking lugs in black. The wheels and everything else I have I bought in matte black and I am glad I did. I just paint over the powdercoating and if they get scuffed it is easy to touch them up, which works pretty well if it is textured (did not work well on my shackles though). I just figured for a few bucks more I can have a decent undercoating to prevent rust. After 2.5 years I still don't have any rust on these wheels and I live in the PNW and park outside most of the year.

Cheers

The SSRs are the best all around tire I have owned on any truck/Jeep (and I have had a lot). I assume it could partially be because they are skinny. I live in the mountains in the PNW, so I routinely drive on slick wet roads, snow (+ the snowpocalypse of 2019 driving through snow to my frame rails), ice, and of course mud etc. off road. They are also wearing VERY well so far. I cannot speak highly enough of these tires and could not have asked for a better tire where I live. I am shocked nobody runs these anymore but I assume its because it is an older design and the IG/Youtube crowd are generally in the desert southwest where there are probably better options.

The only cons are 1) they are heavy (76lbs if memory serves), 2) I had two tires they could not balance, but they replaced them no charge 3) and for those that care, they do hum a bit on the road but this is actually a pro in my book.

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback. Do you remember where you got the center caps?
