Since my last post on this thread I've added j scan to the toolbox. Pretty cool app with a load of features. I'm still trying to figure it all out but it has alot of functionality, and it's pretty simple to use. Will it completely replace the Tazer? Not sure yet but maybe. Well the Tazer is serving as the SGW bypass right now so from that aspect it will stay plugged in.

Anyone else get the message "updating" when trying to use the tazer, then you wait and wait and wait and it doesn't change so you try to continue and after pressing left arrow and cancel a few times you can finally get past that message, then it pops up again while trying to go through the menu. That, a damn natt and this damn Florida humidity was really pissing me off, I think I finally got my tire size updated but I'm not 100% confident on that.
Sort of tangential here, but Jeep updated my Uconnect last week and it wiped out my Tazer programming. I'll have to re-program well size and pressure.

I see you have a 2024.

I recently traded my 2020 for a 2024 but haven't installed the Taser in the new Jeep yet. I've been worried their might be some issues with the updated Uconnect system and the Taser.

Other than having to re-program your tire size and pressure, after the Uconnect update, have you had any issues?

I have a 2024 Mojave with a Taser. Newly installed several months ago.

I’m still learning it…. One time, early-on… it didn’t remember my start/stop was ON. Then… at some point, the Kill3Honk was OFF when It was supposed to be on.

At that point, I removed it and did a firmware update (it was running the same version, but I ran the update anyway) and did the whole reboot & sleep cycles.
It’s been fine ever since….. Knock on wood.

I’ve made LIVE setting changes - without doing the sleep cycles (you shouldn’t need to on LIVE settings). But that’s about all I’ve messed with.

@Janster thanks for the reply and info. I'll probably install my Taser this weekend.

No other issues. I re-programmed it yesterday and all is ok now. But, I assume we'll have to do it each time Jeep updates Uconnect. Why it de-programmed just that is a mystery. When I installed the Tazer the first time there were no issues.

@Geoarch thank you for the info. That is strange that the Uconnect updates wipe out the Taser settings, but at least it doesn't cause a crash or "blue screen of death" type situation. Hoping to install my taser this weekend.
