I have a 20 gladiator with a tazer mini on it, I need some help with. I leave the tazer on the Jeep and according to tazer instructions under non- menu live functions I should be able to disconnect my front sway bar in two wheel drive same way with lockers but I cannot get it do that, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you need to set a button?

According to instructions I thought the non- menu live features should work I must be missing something though, hoping some other tazer users had some thoughts and maybe help.

What speed are you at when you push the Sway Bar button?

Sway Bar in 2WD: Press SWAY BAR while in 2WD and it will disconnect or re-connect as if it were in 4WD. It will automatically re-connect at 30MPH and disconnect when the Jeep comes back to a full stop.

See “SwayKill” in Button Remap section for full sway bar control.
  • disconnect sway bar in 2WD up to 30mph or at any speed if mapped to a button

You aren’t alone. I noticed the same when I first installed the Tazer. I didn’t really look into at all that much after. I suppose it was possible it was user error. That said, in practice, it hasn’t mattered. At least for our neck of the woods, seems almost all the places I want the sway bar disconnected I’m on a surface where chucking it into 4hi isn’t a big deal. Guess I mainly use the disconnect for comfort on forest service trails.

I had the same experience as Thunderspud above. I noticed it didnt work when I first set my tazer up, but I never followed through to diagnose, as every time Ive wanted to disconnect, it is when crawling.

Near as I can tell the Tazer mini works when I use the sway disconnect button at a full stop and stays disconnected to 30 like they say 2wd or 4wd.
In 4wd if I'm moving, the Rubicon systems works (takes over :-() and reconnects about 18. blinking warnings over 16 on dash.

Maybe multiple reboots help? When I changed tire size it took 3 reboots just to get the tire change to stick.

If I could just get the backup cam to stay on when I use the apps would be useful
