Hi and thank you all.

Vehicle displays ABS indicator after putting vehicle into gear and you can feel the breaks still holding on. When I then roll a little with gas you can feel the breaks releasing and abs goes off.
Have been using the Tazer mini so far only to turn ESS off

Wanted to update.
Downloaded newest Update tool from Z, install, plug in tazer to pc, open software, go on update.

Did you ever figure this out? I just tried updating my Tazer JL while my Jeep was in for service and I had it unmarried, and I'm getting the same thing. My computer is communicating fine as I can update the light show, but when I open the file in the Update menu, it sits at Checking for Update 100%. It also goes there almost instantly.

Update - there does appear to be a new version of the installer software. I downloaded that and it seems to have corrected the issue and I can install now.

For archive - if anyone gets the Checking for Update 100% message and it gets stuck, install the latest Program Utility and it should work.

I essentially reset everything.
Uninstalled with uninstalled everything (with Revo Uninstaller), installed again, plugged it in, and then it worked... no clue what and why... that's why I never updated the post.

So if I remove the Tazer without u marry it and check for an update, then update it, will it re install OK? I need to remove it for a dealer visit.

Unmarry, unhook, go to dealer, then update tazer with yout update tool on your pc, then hook it up again and marry. Otherwise, you can have issues with updates, etc.

My PC is at home, not the dealer. This Tazer POS is a real PITA. What have we done to ourselves with this .

So driven hour to the dealer, un marry it, drive back home, update it, then drive back to the dealer, install it and re marry it then set all the settings. There has got to be an easier way. There is no customer service other than e mail. This is a bad joke.

not sure what the problem is, you do not need to update it that desperately...
Unmarry it and then just remarry it. When you have time, just unmarry it at home and update it.
If you want the live features but not reset it always, umarry tazer, get a bypass cable, buy JScan license, prgram in changes you want, and then marry Tazer again and keep trucking.

New guy here. So to clarify:
I marry the taser to JL, set everything and leave it in truck.
iF I have to take it to dealer I have to unmarry it; no biggie. But when I reinstall it I have to go back in and set all my preferences again?

That is correct.
Otherwise you (ex. JScan)/dealer can program in changes like tires/gear ratio etc., and then you marry the tazer.
The tazer takes a snapshot of the vehicle when marrying and returns it to that when unmarrying.
Important to unmarry as the dealer will most of the time have a hard time reading out and can even brick when updating or revert updates etc....
