The Racetrack Lighting will come with a one year warranty with the ability to purchase and extended warranty through Extend for an addition 1-, 2-, or 3-years of protection. Has Oracle ever had any internal discussions about providing a longer warranty terms? I can't see myself removing the rear Jeep badging and installing something like this with the chance that a year later it'll already be out of warranty and any issues either require going back to stock or paying full price for a replacement. I'd personally feel like 3 years would give me peace of mind for a purchase like this.

That's a great question and thank you. We have discussed internally. The costs associated with extending the original warranty period increases in some circumstances and would raise the purchase price as well. We do offer extended warranty to purchase for additional peace of mind. There are so many products in our lives that carry a specific warranty period with the option of purchasing an extended warranty of some sort.

So I checked out what it would cost to convert to the tail lights and add the racetrack lighting and it's approximately $1K. A bit steep after seeing all the issues people have had with the tail light conversion. Will have to see how this pans out on other Gladiators before I pull the trigger.
