Down in our own little world of the RGV, South Texas. We're at 44° currently. Not a spec of snow, or rain. It's a moment where we had to turn the AC off today.

The envy is real living in the suburbs of Chicago. This place sucks with -30* wind chills and frequent snow. I’d love this weather to be a rarity lol.

We had 2" of snow with a heavy cover of ice, Power outages middle Tennessee wide. Ours was out from 8:30 am till around 4:30 this afternoon in temps hovering in upper 20's dropping to low teens.
Roads are but a sheet of ice. I made one trip to the store but all stores around my area are closed due to no power. Can you say fun!!!

Ha, I grew up in Mission. Graduated from Mission HS in 82.
Used to work at the Skateland on 23rd street back in 1980, I think they turned it into a bingo hall since then.

Funny….but last week, the weather peeps were predicting for us to get 18-24ā€ of snow in southern Pennsylvania. So…of course…. People freak out when there’s any predictions let alone that much. šŸ™„ The grocery stores experienced the mass hysteria on Thursday & Friday. I’m surprised there wasn’t a state-wide toilet paper shortage!! šŸ˜‚. I actually went to the store Saturday afternoon just for fun…(wanted to see the chaos first hand). but was surprised , there was nobody there and the employees were stocking the shelves.

I’m disappointed….. We got only about 10ā€ of snow with probably another 2ā€+ of sleet and freezing rain. It was about 10-15 degrees all day and still sitting at 17 right now. I hate the cold…but if you’re gonna tell me 18-24ā€ ..BRING IT!!
We took a time lapse…I’ll post that when we get it cleaned up. But honestly? It doesn’t look like much. The snow was fluffy and the sleet just weighted it down. Hard to see the ā€˜change’.

The hubby did a pass with snowblower yesterday before the sleet got too bad (about 7ā€). He’s out there now and the additional snow & sleet…& cold temps, the snow blower isn’t happy.

Welp…this shit is gonna be around for a long time. Our average temps here are supposed to be 35-40 degrees. We’ve been experiencing seasonal colder temps for a couple years now. Global warming …my ass. šŸ˜‚

Lol. Everything is a bingo hall now. Nah, truthfully everything is a car wash now. There's almost 40 in a 5 mile radius. Washing more than cars.

I'm in the sw corner of Pa. Not far from the mountain ridges. We got 12". Got that cleaned up with the snowblower yesterday. Woke up to another 2" this morning. Boss texted and said to come in at 10am today instead of 8am.
