Tonneau cover is probably one of the most underrated mods, highly recommend for anyone taking their gladdy Offroad. I put in some thick window liner around the tailgate bed to keep all the dirt and dust out. I came from a grand Cherokee so I was used to all my gear, be it a day run or weeklong trip, not having an inch of dust all over it.
My Rubicon came with the Cargo group with trail rail system so luckily I was able to have a roll up tonneau with bedliner installed from factory!

I don’t think I’d be able to have a truck without tonneau or bedliner… saved me the headache of having to buy one from Amazon and making an appointment with my local LineX.

Dead pedal. First 12 hour road trip taught me that.
Agh, I’m itching for one now. Which one do you guys have? That DV8 one is nice, seems like everyone is recommending MORE.

What about some Amazon ones that look good and just as functional?

First thing we threw on our Rubicon was a set of our Extended View custom spotter mirrors.

They are designed to go on top or bottom, based on preference and if you have factory blind spot monitoring.

When we moved to the Gladiator from previous 1500 and 2500 trucks, the mirror visibility and functionality was a massive step down. So, these really help with daily driving, parking, wheeling and towing. Especially with the Gladiator vs the Wrangler when the back window is blocked from towing or hauling.

We love that we've been the first mod in this regard for thousands of Gladiator and Wrangler owners to see better and further enjoy their rigs ✌🏼

First mod I did was a soft roll up tonneau cover, the amount of dust on the trails would wreak havoc on my camping gear, not to mention the cover helps secure the gear and keeps it out of sight.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned gas struts for the hood. The single best mod I have done because I always hook mine up to a battery maintainer. So much easier to just lift the hood and hook it up. Also the Bullet point phone holder.

Rocksliders. Good insurance especially when you're not lifted. Also, makes decent step.
That’s on the list. The rock rails that came with the Rubicon is nice since it’s tucked in close to the frame.

We had sliders on the Tundra too. So definitely need something that’ll bolt on nicely to the frame for armor and also steps once we get into the 2.5-3” range of lift.

My wife can barely get in with the 285s on there so once we get to 37/38, it’ll be even more tough.

What are some reputable brands here? I’m seeing a lot of Motobilt stuff.

Wish I had done it sooner, and you say you want to wait, but a lift.

The stiffer springs and shocks and all the stiffer steering components made the ride so much more comfort.

I found the factory stuff too soft and allowed body roll.

@pvn.jt24 how hard are you thinking of wheeling your Gladiator?

The stock Rubicon ones are not beefy enough and too tucked in for my use. Not enough protection for side protection from rocks and old ladies errant shopping carts. There's lots of good brands out there. I like rockhard 4x4 for their solid performance and price point.
