Just had a front end alignment on my 2021 Mojave on 37’s, no lift. The shop got everything back to factory specs, but showed me end joints on the tie rod and drag link have about 1/8” of play up and down and recommend to replace both.
Can the ends just be replaced or should both complete drag link and tie rods be replaced.
What are good quality brands that people are using. Mostly highway use, very little off road.
Thanks.

In this neck of the woods, a bunch of us are running Yeti/Steer Smart ends with GBX Manufactuing HD aluminum tie rod, drag link, and universal tie rod clamp. Also did Dynaflex ball joints while thinks were apart.

The factory draglink is one small pice and a long piece . Extreme terrain sells the factory ones on their site . The tiered bar and tierods same deal a long section and then the one end.

I did RJ drag link also knowing I would eventually go with their high steer being it only required 2.5" of lift. I have since done the rest of the RJ high steer kit ,knuckles, tie rod and brackets for track bar and raised steering stabilizer. Great set up

Not that it's necessary. But go 2.5 tonight. Aluminum, I went with Fusion 4X4 and am completely happy with the outcome. Drove a couple hundred miles off road last Christmas. Got on pavement and it was like I never left.

What ever you pick. Make sure you get the tie rod ends with the anti flop feature.

Myself, I have the Core 4x4 steering linkage with the Apex anti flop tie rod ends.

Not sure what RJ’s ends are called but mine are in the same position for months now also. I have read where some one complained RJ did move. they may of made a change or maybe I m just lucky either way it has no effect on anything if the do
