Funny you mention that. I gave all my info to ecgs and when I got the package, I got the dutchman shafts to my specs. DUTCHMAN didn't put the shafts for sale, on their website, until after I did all the work to be the first to post about them and share my build. I feel like their exclusive deal with arb was from my order and the work I did. No one to date has them but me. Im getting out of the Air Force in 18 months and hoping to get a job as an engineer as a civilian but car parts are too easy and too easily copied. They can have this one for free. Smh.
It could of been your work that did it, From what it sounded like though the process started before the RD246 was avail. Which given that the ONLY shafts from anywhere that work with them are Dutchman it would make sense. Then again they could of only been working it for the widetrack axles & then used your work to add the SKU for the normal width.

Don’t know how much help this will be but when I spoke to my shop regarding 35 spline RCVs with FAD, they finally reached back to me.
I was told RCV was in the process of designing the 35S with the ARB lockers. Seemingly the ones I got ordered may be some of the first. At least that is what the rep from RCV told my shop.
So do you already have them ordered & on the way?

Yes they are on order. I was told early October for arrival, haven’t heard if that has changed. And I definitely believe the fact that the 35s Dutchmans were sourced so easily is because of @Brfertig
Hopefully I’ll have more info on the RCVs soon, that I can share.

well hopefuly I hear back from them tomorrow. Honestly I am impatient so if there is going to be much difference in timing I will go with the 32 spline up front. Everything else should be no more then about 10 days out. So if its only a week difference it would be worth waiting, but I wont wait a month or more since even the 32 spline are warrantied for 6" bigger tires then I see myself running

Honestly, I just got bit by the might as well bug and the novelty of it. The stock stuff was probably enough for me. But I would like to move out west in a couple of years and then I’ll have more use for it.
They told me 6-8 weeks. But I believe that was because they had to make them first. After these they may be available more quickly.

And they probably aren’t making just one set. Since they aren’t listed as for sale anywhere I may get a shortcut

Its possible that they just confirmed the work they were already doing with my build. I was being a bit facetious. Its not like there haven't been 35 splines before in other jeeps. The tech has been around a long time. I do love the quality and finish on the dutchman products. They are top notch. As well as arb. Everyone has jumped at the chance to build me axles. Money is a good motivator. Lol

I have the money to pay for my axles, but I havent had anyone jumping at the chance. At this point I am getting close to having the complete list together to order. May actually all be from Dutchman since they are an RCV & ARB dealer its kind of one stop shopping for everything but the gears & the drivetrain specialist shop is providing those.

I heard back from the "man" at RCV that ARB referred me to. Its amazing how clear the answers get when your talking to the right people.

The 35 spline with FAD delete is available. Maintaining the FAD though is a 10 week wait. Since I am not willing to wait 10 weeks I have to decide on either going 32 spline with FAD or 35 spline without.

In my defense I'm usually last to a fad but say what you will the Members Only jacket was on final clearance.
Honestly I wish I still had my members only jacket... I think my ex wife threw it out though.

The FAD (front axle disconenct) is there for fuel mileage. When not locked your front driveshaft wont spin while driving. Deleting it does mean its stronger, so its a trade off either way.

The Max Tow includes the rear trac lok, could I simply(well it doesn't appear to be all that simple) add the ARB to the front axle and have a nice working setup(limit the tire size to 35)?

Not everyone with Max Tow has the traclok.. I dont. You can add an ARB RD245 front locker with the stock axle shafts though & be pretty well set

i think that is rear only not the front also that is for m220 axle which may be on some but mine has wide trac dana 44. My sport S with max trackage of 7600 lbs only came with limited slip in the rear , which is fine works great but many years from now have to replace the clutches . I cant find a locker for the wide trac dana 44 in my axle . i dont know the spline count i think i saw 35 spine for a 20 wrangler front . What is the best bet for a front locker ?
