Looks good on the second pic. The first it doesnt really look like it has tint?
For sure had tint then. I think the passenger window is down which back lights the tint and makes it pointless. Bad photo for you there - my bad.

It has to match. What ever the rear doors are, is what the front should be. I guess you could go 5% lighter and it would look the same from the outside, but I'd start twitching if it didn't match on mine.

I did 15% on the fronts and 35% on the rears over factory and they match almost perfectly.

I just tell the tinter to match what the back has. From the outside they look the same but from the inside, but from the inside the factory rears are lighter when you are looking through them.

So, I am scheduled for this weekend to get my truck tinted. The back doors and back glass are just the factory tint.
What percent could I do on the front doors to blend pretty good?
I am also trying to decide if I want to do the front windshield or not. Thoughts on that? If i do, I am looking at maybe 50%. I am torn on doing it, as I dont feel that I see the best at night sometimes with the jeep lighting.

Any pic examples would be greatly appreciated. Yes I have searched here and there, but not found too too many pics.
When we tinted the windows on our Rubi it was too dark and reflected everything including the screen that was glowing on the dash. It was distracting and we reduced it to 50%.

I did 20% and it matches pretty well. I’ve never had an issue on this or other vehicles done the same, but attitude goes a long way when you get pulled over.

these are the only pics I can find with the windows rolled up.

I appreciate all of the replies. I will ask the guy what he recommends, but at this point I think I am leaning toward the 20% on the front doors. Not sure If i will worry about the front windshield or not. I guess I could always do it at a later time if I wanted to.

Throw 20% on the front 4 doors and 5% on the rear glass if your rocking a hard top and you want be disappointed. That's my plan soon enough. I got a few more things on the short list before I decide on getting the tint done.

I asked my shop to match the front doors to the rear. They said it was 25%. I think it looks good, factory-ish, and pretty affordable to just do 2 windows instead of 4.

I was once pulled over for my tint being too dark. Dark Blue ZR2 S10 with 20%... I had 10 days to remove it and check back with the police dept. I won't waste the money a second time.
