How's the performance going so far. You noticed much of change and if so where at?
Honestly, not much. I was really surprised. Figured it would have been a much greater parasitic loss. My buddy who also has a JTR drove it, and said the same thing. I ordered an iDrive throttle response controller, which should help the lagginess of the throttle, and should bring it back to stock, or better quickness.

Let me know how the iDrive works out. I would imagine with me staying at 37 12.5 17 that I should see less of a loss

Well... More tire, less wheel... Means about equal weight addition per corner... Or maybe even more weight than with larger wheel diameter.

I went with 37x12.5x18 Kanati Trail Hogs. They weigh roughly 70 lbs vs 63 lbs on the 35s Courser MXT they replaced. Didn’t lose any bit of pep from the 35s, and actually ride smoother than the coursers. I do have a Tazer programmed to the 37s and also have a pedal commander. I’m running the trail hogs around 33 psi. Knowing what I know now, would have gone 37s from day 1. Oh and I have Sport S with 3.73s.

It came in today, and we weren't working due to the mass amounts of rain overnight... So I put it in. I like it, but it's weird. Seems like the Jeep is always running hard, even in A.C. mode, like it's always in 1 gear lower than it should be, but it's peppy and responsive. Only time will tell about fuel mileage. Keep in mind, I'm running 37's with stock 4.10 gears, and my Tazer has not come in yet, so my speedo, shift-points, etc... are all out of whack, because it has not been recalibrated for the 37's. Once my Tazer comes in, I will report back more. I think the combo of the 2 will be nice.

Awesome. Yeah for sure once you get everything calibrated,I'm curious how it will work out. I know the superchips Flashpaqs on my JKU made a nice difference in peppiness and throttle response. I gained about 1.5mpgs as well. Just trying to decide what route I need to take with mine when I do the inevitable and go to 37's

I will say this... I was a bit pissed that it came in, and was white... I was expecting it to be a black face on the iDrive unit, but the white isn't a deal-breaker...Just kind of a bummer. I was really wanting it to blend in, instead of stick out like a sore thumb... I will email them tonight to see what happened. They claim they offer different colors, but there was no color options selector...Maybe they only come in white now? I'll find out. Just wanted to let folks know...

Update... I sent iDrive support an email, and just got a phone call (within 20 minutes of hitting send) from an actual person. His name was Chris. VERY helpful, and answered all of my questions. I explained sort of the driving style I have, and he helped me figure out which mode would be best for my style of driving. He recommended U-7 mode, and not A.C. mode. He also said that since my Jeep has not been recalibrated for the 37" tires, it's going to be throwing off all of my stuff (just like I had figured). So, he said once that's corrected, it will be night & day.

He also is sending me a black face plate to go on it. :like:

Dude, I can't say enough about that...Kind of shocked me honestly. That is customer service you rarely see today! That shows that they stand behind their products, and customers.

They just got a HUGE recommendation from me. :like::like::like:

*** Also, if anyone gets one, here's a link to the face plates... I thought it came with them, because of the videos I saw on YouTube... None of them showed that you have to buy them separately. They probably should have told you that in the videos...But they didn't.

So far so good. Ride very smooth in town and on highway. Very quiet as well.

Bump... I started this thread a long time ago, but it kind of just dwindled off.

How did the pedal commander work with your tazer? Did it smooth out once you got it calibrated?

I went with the iDrive unit, not the Pedal Commander.

But, yes, it did smooth-out once I got the speedo/shift points recalibrated with the Tazer. I also messed around with the iDrive unit and found the best setting for me, and that is the U-7 setting. Wide-open on U-9 is too touchy, and when you hit bumps it blips the throttle. U-7 is slightly less sensitive, and is much easier to get used to for daily driving.
