Hey Guys. Want to connect battery tender ring terminal charge tail. Is there a specific spot to connect, there are more cables to the battery than I am used to. A picture would be great.
Also I hooked the tender up with alligator clips and the light changed to full charge after 10 minutes with 4 amp tender. That can't be kosher can it. Should note batteries are 4 yr 4 months old and yup I am getting them changed asap. Thanks for any help.

As long as you connect the ground to the plate above the main battery post you are good. If you connected it directly to the battery post, you may need to do an Ibs reset. Those two large cables at the negative post go to your fender ground and the Aux battery ground. If you take the ground off that connection, you can charge the batteries independently. Keep those cable ends from touching anything.

You did good with regard to you battery life!

i connected my BatteryMinder to my snow plow fuse and to the fender ground lug.

It maintains at a voltage about 13.4 or something like that I checked voltage at the main battery and the aux battery via N1 and the voltage was the same at all points.

If you drive your JT enough, and drive it long enough when you do, maybe your batteries weren't all that low. That does seem a bit fast, but......... we don't know what the battery State of Charge (SoC) or voltage was when you started.

As far as connecting to the negative - either use a ground lug or somewhere in the green circle. Don't connect to the red X area -

Here are the connections for the NOCO tender that is on my '21 Mojave which should work the same for your '20.
I added a nut to the top of the stud of the IBS for the negative terminal connection.

Thanks. retired and in Oak Island NC. Coffee shops, hardware ,drug store and Publix are all 2-5 min. drive and we walk to the beach. Neither car gets a decent run unless we go out of town. Over 4 years and only 20,000 Miles on the Jeep.

Just a tip for the health of your engines - periodically take them out on a long run of 30 minutes or more to get the oil hot, burn out moisture and fuel contamination and byproducts of combustion. Once in a while exercise it. Not meaning abuse, but accelerate like a teen and keep the RPM up once in a while.
Nothing to do with batteries but your engines will thank you with longer lives.
And if that's not possible or practical, change oil more frequently as short drives are "rough service".

This thread lead me to toss more money at the Jeep. ?
NOCO Genius 2D, very clean little mounting bracket is included. Do wish the 120v cord end was a bit longer but overall, great buy.
