Picked up my gator Rubicon this afternoon at Tri-City. Kayla. Did a fantastic job with the presentation/overview getting me familiarized with the features..
Put on close to 200 cold/wet/misty/rainy/foggy miles and all seems well with the steering. Tire pressure seems a bit high- 39 cold, 42-43 on the road. Feels just a bit sensitive so I will drop it by 2 lbs in the morning before getting on the road again. No issues with the gas tank burping. Took ~18. Gallons at the first fill-up at the dealer. Let the nozzle sit in the tube for 10 seconds as indicated by the sticker on the filler door.
Is everyone getting a hard copy owners manual? Just curious as I thought it was mentioned as a missing item that needs to be ordered... I had a copy of version 2 in the glove box - comes with a green contour map bag.
Loving everything about it so far!
I also got a hard copy manual - and the same experience with the tires. I have the stock Mudders, and I took delivery at 42psi. I dropped them to 37psi on my gauge (that's the weight on my door placard) @ 57 degrees, and the dash measured them 36psi. This morning was 24 degrees, and dash measured them at 32psi. That seems like a lot of variance, but I don't know what's normal - especially for a tire this size. My steering and handling feels good; a little Jeepy, but much tighter and more responsive than my old TJ. It does seem to require a bit more attention at highway speed to keep her in between the lines, but she's a very different animal than I'm used to.

Congrats on the new ride; enjoy the drive home!

Bailed on my build since it was taking too long and upgraded from Sport to Overland. It's so much nicer than the Sport I built....but also another 6k. Just in time to drive Christmas gifts around.

Hi there,

Took delivery just before the holidays of a white LED Rubicon. I am coming off a 2018 Raptor and have been very happy so far. Biggest plus other than being a Jeep obviously are form factor and gas cost at the pump. My only two gripes are wind noise at highway speed with the hard top and the fact you can't unlock the tailgate at the handle with the proximity entry. Don't remember the last car I had where you could not open trunk/ tailgate same way you unlock the doors by just grabbing it with keys in your pocket. Planned mods will be lift, tires, lights and winch. First though need to figure out best way to haul my mountain bikes. Hitch rack is annoying on trucks.

Made a deal with Lake Norman Jeep over the phone and went to do the paperwork and pick it up today.

Gladiator Rubicon, Gator Green, Dark Saddle leather interior, cargo rail system, and spray in bed liner. After putting about 50 miles on it I really like it. Much more refined than my old LJ, but still very much like a Jeep.
