Only have a few hundred miles on them but I am amazed how quite and smooth ride they have. The rolling resistance is impressive as my MPG has gone up over the old 35"MT Baja Boss MT's despite being a heavier tire and a 37". AEV Dualsport Borah wheels with protection ring added a few pounds over the factory Rubicon wheels as well. For reference I have the 2" Mopar lift +Teraxflex 1" spacer in front and stock 3.73 gears. Before the questions start, no plans to regear as the diesel barely notices a difference. Transmission shifts to 8th gear and never looks back. Installed height at 30 PSI on fronts / 28 PSI in rear was right at 36" with weight of vehicle on it. Very little road noise from tires, I would say slightly less than a BFG KO AT. I can actually hear my radio at a volume level of 5 versus 15+ with the MT Baja's. We will see how they hold up in about 10-20K miles. No off road or snow reviews yet. BB Wheels had a great price on these at $383 each. Discount Tire and the other big names did not have them even listed yet.

Thank you for taking the time to share your initial impressions with the new Open Country R/T Trail - the rubber looks great! Looking forward to your thoughts as you continued clocking miles 😎

Also, my apologies we didn't have this model listed when you were in market! Took us just a bit to get internal part numbers built.

I've been looking at those tires as well as adding the 1" spacer to my existing Mopar lift. Thanks for the review!

Open country RTs are my favorite tire that I've ever owned. Unfortunately I couldn't find 4 in my size when I went to 37s, so I settled for KO2s. You just reminded me that when the time comes, I'm going back to the RTs.
