Just wanted to know what most ppl on here are doing when getting new wheels and tires. Are you using the same tpms sensors? Or are you buying new ones when putting on wheels and tires. I will be buying a rubi once the 22s come out and plan on selling stock wheels and tires. I’m assuming leave stock tpms sensors in and buy new ones for my aftermarket wheels?

I got mine with TPMS installed from the shop. They got picked up immediately by the computer and allows me to sell the stock package intact. Adds a bit of cost but so much more convenient

Are TPMS inside the wheel? I'm trying to find some take off wheels to mount my winter tires on. A lot of take off's don't have TPMS. Seems expensive to unmount and remount tires just to swap over sensors.

I bought a set of 5 through Benny here - All Mopar....... genuine MOPAR parts the same as what my truck came with. Good price and I knew being MOPAR parts if there ever was a problem, they have the same warranty as my truck (otherwise they have a 2 year warranty being MOPAR parts).

Bought a set of 5 from my dealer to put on my after market wheels. One failed over two years later and it was replaced, no questions asked.

Is that a member in here I’m assuming?

Yes - this is a link to their forum area (as a sponsor) Benny is the fellow we work with here.

It's really true MOPAR parts like you would get from your dealer - but at a discount.
Full MOPAR warranty.
Thanks!!
I messaged him and ordered 5 of them. Unfortunately they are on back order, but I’m waiting for a 22 anyways so at least I’ll have them on order a while. Even though I have already got an email said that the status has been updated to working and is processing. Says I’ll be updated when it ships.

I just put rubber valve stems in, it really sucks breaking one of those fancy aluminum bois offroad.

I used a superchips flashcal to delete the trucks tpms check.

makes life alot easier for me, it's pretty obvious with 40s if you've got a low tire.

I just bought a set of like new OEM take offs from Ebay and installed those in my new wheel/tire setup. Not worth the cost to have the tire shop break the bead on the original wheel/tire to remove the TPMS sensors and install on the new set.

I think it is also easier to move a set of take offs when selling to leave the TPMS sensors installed.

I sold the rubicon wheels/tires I had with tpms sensors, wheels ready to bolt on. Not worth the hassle to remove them plus a set through Benny was cheaper than removing those (and I tend to be generous when selling or giving things away).
