I wanted one that protected the hitch when not towing so I went with this from Quadratec

AMP makes one that goes in the corner under the bumper. Gives you best of both worlds

I remember seeing that step and about wet myself when I saw what they wanted for it. I’ll just jump in the bed instead of paying that kinda money. Assuming it’s the step I’m thinking of. Lol

based on your statement, it’s the same step. For that price I can hire a person to hoist me up every time

I put the AMP bed step on and it works great. Can be used with tailgate open as well.

Yea. $260.00 for a small step. To each their own, but I don’t think I could justify the price for how little I’d use it. Maybe if it was a work truck or something....

Yep, never used it. Pull a trailer so my hitch is always connected. Very nice step tho.
