Let us know.Found it, right next to the windshield washer fluid reservoir. It's reset now. I bet when I start the vehicle could, it will throw the code again, and I bet it's the upstream O2 sensor.
Well, I followed your advice. Biggest waste of time ever. I arrived at the dealer at 7:00. By 7:30, they said they had flashed the PCM and that should take care of it. CEL was back on before I left the parking lot. I work nights and got up at 6:00 AM to get this fixed. Now they want me to bring it back next Tuesday. I love getting the runaround. @JeepCaresI wouldn’t erase any codes. Just go to the dealer and have them fix it. It’s brand new. And the misfire codes will just return after you erase them. Because they’re happening again.
I know reading is hard, but I just got home from the dealer. Two hours of sleep, got up to make it there by 7:00 AM. Huge waste of my time. They want the truck back in next Tuesday for "more diagnostics". He said they could not get me back in until then. I was literally the only customer there. @JeepCaresTAKE IT TO THE F’n DEALER!
My bet is that the batteries are low given the plethora of issues you’re having. Just get a loaner and be done with it.
BTW, I’ve had BMW’s and Mercedes and those were mechanical nightmares..just sayin’.![]()
Did you even read my posts? I mean, I know reading is hard, but I tried to use the shortest words possible.”Reading is hard”? Really.. several people have suggested taking it in and you ignored them.
Did you call and make an appointment?
Did you tell them you wanted to leave it and needed a loaner?
…
Yep. They all have problems. These are complex groupings of computer boards and sensors. Don’t get down on Jeep as a brand. I’ve owned many things from many vendors, and I’ve loved the 7 or more Jeep branded vehicles more than the rest by far.TAKE IT TO THE F’n DEALER!

Check your Hyundai to make sure its oil pan dipstick is short enough.Maybe, but my last two M5s (E60 and F10) were flawless. 135i was problem-free. M235i had no trouble. Two mustang GTs were bought new and never went to the dealer. I've owned at least 35 vehicles since I was 16. My wife's Hyundai Equus has 104k miles. It went to the dealer once at 60k miles for a new AC compressor under warranty. I'm just not used to this Stellantis BS. It's been a bad experience so far, for sure! @JeepCares
I think the 5.0 liter Tau V8 in the Equus (basically a Genesis) is a little higher quality than the little Sonata engine. Plus, Jeep would love to have Hyundai's JD Powers ratings for reliability.basically a Genesis
Check your Hyundai to make sure its oil pan dipstick is short enough.Think about that for a second before you laugh or cry. The first and last Hyundai my wife and I will ever own was her sonata, for the above reason.
The problem I see with an attempted fix and no paperwork , now makes you having 4 attempts to fix it before you Lemonlaw the thing.Well, after resetting the CEL on Monday night, it came back 15 seconds after I started the vehicle the next day. I scheduled an appointment at Stan McNabb CDJR for Thursday morning. I arrived today at 7:00 AM and told him what was going on. He scanned the vehicle and said there was a PCM update that would fix it. I waited around, and about 20 minutes later, the vehicle was done. No paperwork, just a handshake. I pulled it out the service bay, and the CEL came back on before I left the parking lot. I called the service advisor, and he said that I should bring it back next Tuesday. I'm so disappointed with Jeep right now. The last 5 cars I have owned have been used vehicles, and none of them have had any check engine lights. I don't know what I'm more upset with...the poor quality of the vehicle or getting jerked off by the dealer. @JeepCares
I didn't even think about it until after I left. I was not considering the fact that the problem was not fixed. I may call and ask him to email me a copy of my receipt. The problem I see with an attempted fix and no paperwork , now makes you having 4 attempts to fix it before you Lemonlaw the thing.
I'm not saying you need to even consider it. Just that you gave Jeep a free pass. Document all work performed.
